To those suggesting dropping brown. 4-3-3 would have us killed.

Allegedly

McGlinchey is injured, not on the bench for Central coast

according to CCM forums he just wasn't risked, so assuming that is corredct he should be A OK this week.

who else is gonna be watching training this week?

The waiting is killing me. Every time I hear about the game I get butterflies in my tummy. Fortunatley I got a busy week at work so that may take my mind of it. Either that or everything I do this week will need re-doing next week (more likely option).

Its no longer a problem.

Is your heart began to accelerate?
Do you feel chilled when you approached the date of the game?
Do you dream of daydream and draw a scenario of the game?

I increase the level of challenge
Football is fun
This is the beauty of football
This sweet football
The spirit of football
I raise the challenge, and say:
Red is coming to you strongly
Will not accept a equality
Will not accept the loss
Will not accept except to celebrate in front of 35 thousand New Zealand
Applaud the NZ Fans, respect, and shake the hand of New Zealand players
I share your challenge now, team arrived in Australia now, the beginning of the mission now, the dream now .

Please accept greetings

Yes to all three. Very excited now but also very nervous. I don't know how i'm gonna cope on Sat night.

Btw like the song in your sig. It always brings many memories back to me after it was played at a friends funeral several years ago.

Oh, and greetings accepted

Three for me, and two for them.

For us on Saturday morning 10 A.M , of course we can't sleep,   I will gather my brothers and sisters and sons in the family house at midnight, to spend the night until the time of the game
please get pleasure from that moments.

Its a shame you can't make it over for the game.
It will be an amazing night in Wellington.

Its no longer a problem.

Time to bump this forum folder to the top!

Bahrain, greetings to you.  Is there much in the news in Bahrain about the build up and the game?  Are many Bahraini journalists coming over to cover the game?

Now I have an idea. I know this is not the most sportsmanship-like thing I ever said, but please hear me out:

Does anyone know where the Bahraini's will be staying? It has happened (often) in other countries that the home fans have chanted, played the drums, blown their trumpets and what not for the whole night before a big game, in order to make the opposition sleep harder.
Could we think about something similar??

No.

Its the final countdown.

Less than a week, I cant stand the wait.

This is going to be gut wrenching.

Wow so soon cant wait. re there any trainings Thursday? A bit Gutted they're in Porirua cause thats too out of the way for me. Oh well

Hmm  I'm gonna say:

                         Paston
    Scott     Nelsen    Sigmund  Lochead
                       Elliot
                       Brown
McGlinchey                                  Bertos
                    Smeltz   Fallon

Bertos switching flanks and McGlinchey putting the through balls onto Smeltzy. A lot of Deliveries from Bertos. Elliot to partner Brown in similar structure of Lia/Brown nix combo. Perhaps even push out Sigmund to RB if needed because this is HUGE and we know Siggy can step up and we dont really want to much attack coming from our Right Back.
Wood and Killen unlucky to mae it but these two worked well as a Pair (against Jordan I think) and they both have gametime. If Wood had been playing, then I would prefer him to start over Rory. But this is what we've got to play with.

RB is the biggest worry, and Brown must have those late runs into the box rather than being tooo defensive.

I'm so so stoked and i will probably shake a few people if we do score.
Scared that i might cry if we lose though. Especially to a late goal

09 Nov 01:43 · edited 09 Sep 05:41
real men cry at football
09 Nov 01:44 · edited 09 Sep 05:41
Im going to be gutted like I have never been gutted before if we lose.

If we win though, I dont think i will get any sleep over the next few days after the game.
09 Nov 02:17 · edited 09 Sep 05:41
Do we know which hotel our boys will be staying at?
09 Nov 03:55 · edited 09 Sep 05:41
Siggy at right back just wouldnt work imo, hes to slow.
Still reckon it goes Smeltz/killen up front but any combination of the 4 wont bother me.
Woods has been getting quite a bit of game time at WBA lately
09 Nov 04:42 · edited 09 Sep 05:41
this is a huge game, its the first real game of football for me that has meant something. sure I support chelsea and the phoenix and hate it when they loose,( and I would hate it if the nix made the final and lost) but this game really is in my blood and really with a passion whatus to win.

I will not be afriad at all to cry if we lose.

So so so so excited for this game! Only 5 sleeps!

Saw Simon Elliot at the gym, he's looking pretty fit... Although he was rowing and biking he definitely wasn't having any trouble with his leg.

COME ON YOU ALL WHITES!

Only five days and forty minutes until kickoff.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Hope to catch training on Wednesday..live in Whitby so its handy.  Excited yes..trepidation .....yes.  The defence must stand firm........at least till half time and then its all on..roar them to victory.

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

"Bahrain face a busy schedule. Four days after playing the All Whites they face Yemen in an Asian Cup qualifying match."

Poor scheduling..the least FIFA could have done was make it 4 days beforehand...
