Nice to see the YF sausage couriers today. Not long home from clean up after a great weekend of football

She's going to kill me for that.

Just checked my outlook calendar and it looks like I'll be waiting until Jan 12 & 26 for my fill of TW sausage (*sad face emoticon*).

The next game is at corporate Westpac before it becomes the RoF on 9 Dec - I suppose it will be Fritz's Weiner on that day?

gotta say something about the quality of the imports too, TW's were not particularly impressive, particularly the big danish donkey, well below a decent national league standard.  so what's the point in having them?

canterbury's were ok, decent footballers, but hardly involved due to the lack of constructive play

Have to agree the Danish back import was average. Thought the big centre back for Manawatu was better.Think he's from Wellington.

Great that TW looked more like a team.

That's what happens when you get imports from a relegation threatened Northern League team.... Didn't quite make sense of that one, Manurewa not exactly providing ASB Prem players

The return of Fa'arodo and Gulley made a difference.

Never been overimpressed with Gulley but I did think he played very very well on Saturday. Good work ethic and did his job well- nice finish too for his goal.

Jazz jr and I spent a bit of time watching the Geman midfielder , Tobias something-or-other. Certainly rates himself but  , as yet , I can't see why. The other 2 TW players we thought went well were the CB , not the Danish plank but the other one ( ?Doyle),and Chettleburgh (sp?)

Calcott spent the entire game moaning about the referee ( who I thought had an OK game).

Does Matt C get any say in whether or not he plays the young Phoenix lads?

In that case is coaching Team Wellington a bit of a hospital pass? Oh well, I suppose if he does well it will reflect well on him

Back to the Stadium Sunday TW v Otago.

Need those 3pts too.  Shouldn't be too hard although all the reports I've read say the Otago boys seem better than their lowly position on the table.

Hopefully Fritz's Wieners will open early to make up for it.

Free Tee Dub programs for the first *** to enter the stadium.

$3.00 Nix programs are available at all home games!

terrible result. What is going on with TW this season? Has the whole Nix Academy link made us less competitive?

lacked a cutting edge today. No one able to open up the opposition defense.

that would be a fair comment i reckon

also, this is a new team.  the last team was on an upward curve, but was nonetheless dismantled despite good work being done to make the side a championship challenger

No Musa, Raj, Fenton, Fleming, Mason-Smith, Lucas. And the players coming in to replace them aren't quite at that level.
Think it's going to be a long season for the TeeDubs.
