Not sure if you are close to the action Blew.2 but Team Welly website still does not have this years squad listed.

Don't think Bertsch is a whole lot better than who we have in there anyway. I wonder if Paddy Fleming will get a game or is he still injured?

Last time I spoke to Patrice he was no longer in the squad. Leg not quite right. Facebook suggests he has recently been renewing his vows with the Cavvy Train.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I was speaking to a guy who plays ASB and has played for a few different clubs and Team Wellington came up and he said the reason they don't deliver the results their squad suggests they could is there is a bunch of them that don't like the coach - has anyone else heard this?

I don't know any of the players really, on account of them all being from other parts of the country. ;)

ditto, but you have to sense check these sentiments with the fact that players can be petty whingers.  also, calcott is old school grumpy - gen-y doesn't like being told what to do

Looked like a real decent crowd in.

Allegedly

Andy McNeil doesn't look so flash in that game..  Looked a little slow to get down to that shot for the last goal.

Both WaiBop's goals from long balls forward - Wellington back line a little jagged and a little slow to turn, although the first goal looks touch and go with offside.

First one looked fine to me. Good to see that both the goals were opportunistic, for all their good play of late they hadn't' managed to finish chances so creating goals out of nothing is good to see, at least.

Rocket of a free-kick from Peverley. Manko might have had a case for a pen late there, but don't go handle the ball, hate it when players who get fouled do that.

Could be used as another age player if regs allow this in ASB youth team

Or just coach and transfer is a club requirement.
And a worthy of much respect.

great stuff - i assume he's still pretty decent.  that will bring the average age of this youth squad up to 26
