As stated by Arses Tegol et all , this is not an NZF  website ...its run by some moron who has no idea what {s}he's putting up , given that I can fully understand as to how the less IT savvy punter can be fooled ...

The difference between a drooling , frothing idiot and a NZF employee can be difficult , even at close quarters  in a well lit room ...we are truly fortunate to have people of the integrity , intelligence and general enourmous self expressed quality of Arset .Togool and of course everyones fav accountant { non- turf} Termihuanca  ...

Obviously you should be more aware of who runs which website , from where , when ,and how accurate they are likely to be , otherwise , how dare you call yourself a " football fan "

Or maybe not call people retards if unaware of the full facts.....

I called no one a R T and if you knew me or see me at any football match you would know why.

Check your FAX.  Fun is Fun if I wanted 100 % true facts and figures I would not look here.

SydKnee , Purf, Where's Wally and Blews  would be where I'd look.

And nobody insults me by usin R T, as we all have Opinions like the Doompost.

just to ad to this - Sporting Pulse or Fox Sports Pulse as they are now known are the software providers but a staffer at NZF would have entered the fixture - so yes it's an NZF issue, can't blame the aussies for this one!

You'd have to fancy Wellington for that 2015 O League spot now. They have the momentum over HBU. Certainly be interesting to see local fan reaction if TW win the right to host the ASBP final. Where do you think they'd hold it, Newtown Park?

Might do a deal with the Nix to use the Stadium...but otherwise yeah Newtown Refrigerator Stadium.

Good to see it is official. Big football weekend in #Wellington. But this will not effect the ACFC gate numbers.

I was there today. Early running was pretty much all HBU but they couldn't finish it off, so to the break at 0-0. First goal to TW was a relatively lucky shot/cross from out -wide right; lucky but it was due to some sustained pressure from TeeDubs, HBU hardly pressed at all and next ten mins was all HBU, but from pretty much their first real attack of the half HBU stung together a very nice passing move to level-looked like it would stay that way but then HBU defenders backed off a run from deep, the shot took a slight deflection and keeper was beat for 2-1.

A bit of a niggly game in warm, windy conditions-not a classic football-wise but plenty of drama and two good goals.

No , nor the tides and the sun , ....

This deserves a big turnout in Wellington. Win it or even draw and you're in the O League in 2015 regardless of the ASBP final result. This is a big deal for TW so get off your arses football supporters and get down to support TW on Saturday - no excuses!

If it's HBU who make it through to the final, then good for you and the O League is your prize. Frankly can't see either team beating ACFC at Kiwitea Street in the final, but you never know.

If HBU make the final and win it then wouldn't they take the 2nd O-League spot?

Or are you saying that is inconceivable?

Or am I wrong about how these things get allocated?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Think he got a bit confused and believes the 2nd finalist gets an O league spot. When it is actually what you're thinking of smithy - winner of ASBP final + 1st in league (or 2nd in league if ASBP final winner is also the first placed team)

Nah i think he reckons neither will beat City in the final. A fair assessment really.

Three for me, and two for them.

Permalink Permalink

That's what I said or implied. If HBU make the ASBP final and win it then they join ACFC in the O League next year. If they don't win the final then TW is in the O League next year. If TW win through to the final then they're in the O League, irrespective if they win the final or not. My understanding is the winner of the minor premiership (ACFC) and the winner of the final go through to the O League. If ACFC wins both then it's the second placed team - TW.

Facebook says

"Exodus Team Wellington takes on Hawkes Bay United in the second leg of the ASB Premiership Semi-Finals at Dave Farrington Park on Saturday March 8th at 1pm (note the change in time).

Entry conditions are $10 for Adults, (Wellington Phoenix Memberships cannot be used for this match), $5 Students and Senior Citizens, Under 12 Free"

In a reply, to my moan about the change,  I was told it's out of their control 'unfortunately'.

Because they have a BBQ or because they occasionally change kick off times?

Guess you'll stop going to nix games after the Adelaide game was changed from Saturday night to Sunday afternoon.

The BBQ is the best bit about TeeDub this year!

Nightz the reason you gave up going to TW is serial laziness. Same as me.

1pm pretty good for me I think so I'm going to try to get to this one.

Christ, I can't believe anyone remotely interested in Wellington football isn't going to be at the game. It's the biggest TW game in Wellington for a decade! Get off your arses, no excuses. It's only 90 minutes out of your life and TW need you. You might even enjoy it.

I don't know anyone playing. It's not a team that I feel any affinity with really.

But they're doing pretty well, so I'd like to support them.

Wow!!!!!! If you didn't take an interest in the Phoenix would you know any of the players? Do you require the TW squad to be made up of your personal mates to follow them? Really???!!!
