Their is no foreign player limit on your Squad of 23- Just match day list in ISPS.

well there is as you can have 7+1 in your match day squad and you can only have a squad of 23, so you could have up to 15 foreign players (and hope that none of the kiwis get injured or suspended) but that wasn't my point Oceania Champions League has a limit of 3+1 so TW & ACFC need to worry about that, so would be surprised if TW go for many (if any) more foriegners

I'd be very surprised if TeeDubs hurt their own chances at winning the Handy Prem by not singing foreigners beyond the OCL squad limits.

Better to perform at the absolute best in the league and then deal with Champs League squad when we get there, no?

That's wrong as well, Illich is NOT Serbian. I made that mistake on Twitter. He's Croatian.

but the champs league happens while the handy is still going on, not like when it used to be after the NZ league finished and clubs would then recruit all the other decent players from other clubs

Given that TW probably have the strongest crop of Kiwis of anyone I don't think not signing more foreigners would hurt their Handy chances.

Jose used a small squad last year (only really 15 or 16 dudes).

Actually, Auckland more like 27 - meant only Auckland really have serious numbers of guys in their 30s.

Basalaj

Hilliar, Bala, Gulley [Schrijvers]

Fenton, Ilich, Bevin, Peverley, Stevens [Hailemariam]

Molloy, Jackson [Kilkolly]

A wide option, a CB option, a CM option probably what's really left to go, rest just filler (Jose was fairly tight on squad use last year).

The Forza Football app tells me TW are playing ACFC at 2pm on Sunday - but it also says it's Round 8 of the premiership...I thought NZFC was still quite a few weeks away?

no it's literally six sleeps away

game is round 8, brought forward due to club world cup and for synergy as the charity cup etc

Thanks for confirming the game is going ahead peeps, if family commitments will allow it - I'll definitely head down to DF to watch it!

Great blog by Panzer - read a few paragraph and he seems to be into the whole mindfulness/"slow" movement which is neat. Hopefully he'll be a good addition to the team.
