Loved that performance, especially against a team that’s caused problems this year. 9 points clear with 13 to play and a mostly fit squad. All the ingredients are there, hopefully the lads can fulfill their potential.
liverpool doing their best to keep us 9 points ahead. 0-0

1-0 Liverpool with 15 to play. Perfect.
Looking at the table I’m not worried about Villa, but if United maintain their form we could be looking over our shoulder nervously.

13 mins extra time, red card and a pen!
City can cheat on their own they don't need referees helping them out

Not only did Liverpool do us no favours, but they managed to lose in a way that gives Man City a huge mental boost and potentially some momentum. Yay.

6 points ahead, 13 games to go. still alive in all 4 comps!!

We've got 13 games to go in the PL. With a 6 point buffer we need a minimum of 11 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss to keep it all in our hands. 11 wins and 2 losses would bring G/D into play which as of today is OK - but if City going on a 13 game streak it could break us.

Have been for a while now imo.
They'll probably have a new manager in for the derby.
Three for me, and two for them.

Spurs are only 5 points ahead of Westham, so if City are part of the "win the league" conversation then Spurs have to be worried about relegation.

Would have been 3 points without the United last second equaliser. Weird for the European Champions to be in this situation after they had a better season and went into this season in a better position than anyone else.

The lord giveth, Saka and Odegaard are back in training.
The lord taketh away, Havertz out for a month and Trossard set for a spell too.
For tonight I’d like to see Martinelli and Madueke outside Jesus, with Eze right 8 - normal order elsewhere. Suspect Eze could benefit from playing there with a striker to bounce off, ie the NLD.

Damn that's a real setback re: havertz and trossard.
We may have all this depth but it's certainly being tested to the maximum, and has been all season

annoying that Havertz and Trossard are out, they were hitting their straps in recent games. Havertz particularly.
We have the depth to cover, especially with Saka and Odegaard likely to get minutes.
It's good to see the issue we've had the last two seasons, where injuries and weary legs at the late end of the season has hobbled our chances of winning it all.

Fake news from brumbys lol! Relieved about trossard, but now concerned about saliba!
Great to see Saka and Odegaard both on the bench.
Interesting that Hincapie is getting starts ahead of Calafiori. Hincapie has been awesome lately but I thought Calafiori had been exceptional, tough call there

I think we all knew it was always going to come down to the game at Man City. We know they probably win every game from here, we've all seen this film before. Gut feeling is the league is probably still too tough an ask.

If we got pumped by City tomorrow we would still be one point clear.
Just chill out. We will be fine.
