we kind of ease into the next prem campaign as we did the last one.

Stoke   away
WBA   home
Norwich   home
Sunderland   away

Stoke away to start the season will be tough but one would hope we will be up for it.

really cant wait. my new ivanovic shirt arrived and ive been watching the season review from our double winning campaign. getting excited already. still 7 weeks away

reports circulating that we are in the process of employing villas-boas to run the ship.

Soccernet's transfer blog has that Villas-Boas move (at 22.04).  OK, the scoop is from Facebook, but there was a lot of talk about him going to Stamford Bridge.

Assuming you do end up with Sir Bobby's disciple at the helm, it'll be hard not to cheer for Chelsea (with the exception of the obvious games ).  Good luck, Blues!

Andre Villas-Boas must be looking forward to long, happy years, full backing of the patient owner, and chance to build a dynasty at #cfc

Sums up Chelsea's approach perfectly.

The start of Chelsea's history must have coincided with the end of Arsenal's. Keep Wenger please. He is mental. The only trophies he ever won were with Rioch's team. When they retired Wenger became clueless.

You lot are having a right laugh trying to sign Modric. Even if you do, Levy will make you wait till the end of Aug and pay at least 35 million pound. Give it up.

quite looking forward to seeing some pre season games, seldom have the chance to do so.

also quite like the appointment of roberto di matteo as assistant. think it definitely helps get fans on side with the new coaching staff. time will tell though wether its the right choice

Scott Parker looks to be his replacement.??????...Essien was only very average last season when he did managed to play, sad for him though.

Haven't heard any Parker rumours but would love to have him back.  He was one of those players I was sorry to see leave and he's all class.

its a real shame for essien, would have been good to see him start the season fresh and raring to go, especially given the fact ramires is busy at copa america. chopper is right though, essien, along with alot of the squad, did suffer from some poor form last season/

as for parker, im with JD on that, was sad to see him go, along with tiago and would welcome him back.
