Has anyone else discovered this awesome website that streams all of Sky Sports UK's numerous channels (and some other good UK channels)  for free? It's the answer to a Kiwi football fan's dreams!!! Streams all the channels direct from the UK! Just fantastic!!!

Leicester v Leeds replay on right now. Just click away the pesky ads:

just received a 15% discount for the basic package through TAB online (where you can also watch a whole lot of free footy).

If anyone is looking to sign up to PLP, give TAB a call first and see if you can get a discount code

I got one also yesterday, good timing as hadn't signed up yet. All because I have a TAB online account. Reminds me, needs topping up for my annual premier league bets. I would recommend giving TAB a ring though even if you don't have an account, not going to be worse off trying.

It's probably cause I haven't given them any money recently. Haha

Why did I not get a code from TAB?! The 60 cents in my account gives me a pretty enormous sense of entitlement.

Emailed the tab got this response

"Hello Jarrod,

I believe the emails and codes are due to come out this week. At this stage I don't have anything more than a very basic outline - 15% discount and available to TAB customers who have an active account and have registered an email address with us, We are still awaiting further information on this promotion but hopefully there will be details available on the TAB website in the next day or two. When I receive  further information I will forward this on to you

Kind regards,

Mike Waite"

I see Devlin and Davis now have a Facebook Page for their '10-15 min highlights package' they will be presenting on Premierleaguepass.

Not surprising considering both of them have been falling over themselves saying how wonderful CSM and PLP are/will be. Miles has been saying he watches NFL on the NFL Game Pass (?) and the quality etc is brilliant. But as mentioned many times I think the bitrate PLP is offering is less than NFL and the like...

Got another email with more info from the TAB, if you've already signed up to premierleaguepass and have a TAB account you could be eligible for a $20 TAB credit

"Hi Jarrod,

You may have already got an email about the promo but if not here is some information. I have also included some FAQ’s – please note that they are written from the perspective of a Helpdesk operator so may sound a little strange.

The TAB has formed a partnership with premierleaguepass.com – the new home of the English Premier League. A benefit we have negotiated is a 15% discount on the ‘Season Pass Basic’ package (normally $149.90) for account customers.

An email has gone out to all of our account customers who have an email address and have opted into receiving promotional content. The emails have a unique code for each customer that they can use when subscribing to the service to receive the discount. The promotion period begins on Thursday 8th August and ends on Monday 30 September, 2013.  There is a limit of one pass per customer.

Below are some FAQ’s:

I’m an account customer. Why didn’t I receive the premierleaguepass.com offer?

It is likely that the account customer has chosen not to receive promotional message from the TAB, has unsubscribed from receiving email, has not provided an email address or we have the wrong email details. If the customer is happy to provide a relevant email address and subscribe to receiving promotional messages, then we can extend the offer to them.

Once their details have been updated please e mail our Sponsorship manager Kurt Tyson with the account number and the customer’s e mail address and he will organise a code for them.

I’m not an account customer, but want the offer. Can I sign up for an account and get the offer now?

Yes. Ensure you provide a current email address and choose to receive promotional messages when signing up.

Please e mail Kurt the account number and the customer’s e mail address and he will organise a code for them.

I’m an account customer, but already purchased my subscription at full price. Can I get a refund from premierleaguepass.com?

Unfortunately not, however as a goodwill gesture TAB will add $20 to your account to help offset the discount value.

Please check that the customer has an account that was opened prior to 8 August 2013, then e mail Kurt the account number and the customer’s e mail address and he will check their details with premierleaguepass.com. Once confirmed as a subscriber Kurt will arrange the $20 deposit.

How can I access the Terms and Conditions for this promotion?  I can send a copy to you via e mail.

Please check the customer’s e mail address and send them the PDF of the Ts & Cs (found at the link above).

Who do I contact if there is an issue with the code you’ve sent me? Please contact l Premier League Pass on 0800 757 277.

There may be a handful of customers that ask why we’re not offering live in play betting during EPL games this season when we have in the past. The reason is that there is a delay in the broadcast from the actual match (up to a minute), which makes offering live in play betting too risky for the customer and TAB.

Kind regards,

Mike Waite,

TAB Customer Services Team"

I'm in this situation - do you have Kurt's details to e-mail?  Would be handy to have $20 in the TAB account for a change.

Just flick an email to the customer service people and they'll sort you out. I wasn't opted in to the emails so I did then just emailed the customer service, and they got in contact with kurt and got my discount code.

It seems you can use the tab code on the platinum package to get it for ~$204 and not just on the normal package. I'm still waiting for the iPhone app to see if I can buy the pass as an in-app purchase with iTunes credit and utilising the iTunes card sales to get and hopefully get it for ~$180

So if I buy a Apple TV I can watch EPL on the TV without moving my desktop PC out to the lounge?

Even though their quality is terrible, they have a ransom on the EPL which really sucks. But I need my live EPL.

Yes you can. Once they've sorted their app - which I'm not sure they have, and until they do I'm holding onto my two hundy slides!... and my one-fiddy for the fruit box.

Hmmmm they didn't really plan this out did they.

Another question, my mate and I were thinking on going halves on the basic package, with me getting the live games and him getting the account the following day for delayed games on demand. Is this service locked down to a specific IP?

Not that I'm aware of, although you can only go on one device at a time I think

That should work. As long as only one of you are logged in at a time. I think there is a limit of five devices too.

Got an email back from plp about an in-app purchase of the passes, there will not be an option to purchase it in-app at the moment.

I'm still confused on the website it says you can use Push to TV? on Apple TV. Does this mean that I need a iPad and a Apple TV?

OK but does that mean the quality will be lower if its taking the feed from the iPad instead of a desktop TV to the big screen TV?

In theory the apps should be getting the same streams as when you access it on your computer, so it should be the same quality. On the app you probably won't be able to manually choose the quality (basing this off the fact you can't on the NFL app which is based on the same tech.)

So what is the overall consensus about signing up to PLP? I would want to watch every game that I had time for, so would the $150 or $240 option be best?
Also, if anyone had a spare discount code it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Depends if you want to watch condensed highlights, preview and review shows. if you do you'd need the $240 option. but if you just want the games then the $150 would be fine.

Seems like the quality of those extra shows might be questionable with NZ hosts - i'd watch the official ones if they were available..
$150 option it is then

I think the devlin/davis shows are separate, and the preview/review shows are the ones that were on sky last season.

They were talking about showing the British stuff... though if you're a fan of one of the big clubs (or Liverpool) then you'll be getting additional content/shows through Sky/Sommet/Online anyway as well as the TV One stuff so I can't see much point in paying extra for it... You can upgrade too so I'd be getting the games to start with then see how it's going after a month or three then upgrade if/when you want to.

Ok thanks, yea that sounds like a good plan.

I've signed up for basic and am planning on using Sommet/Sky/TVOne/ArsenalPlayer to access extra content like highights/magazine-style shows etc. See how that goes and look at the deluxe for next season if I feel I'm missing out on anything.

Can anyone confirm this? What additional are the preview/review shows that come with the premium deal?

Have you tried emailing Coliseum?... I know, random thought.
