they're miles off, if we don't bring anyone in before transfer deadline day this team is going to suffer big time and well be lucky to make the top 10 we had no creativity and Jo was AWOL all game and Joleon well he just didn't look interested at all  imo  I'm not holding him out to dry the whole team performed like a pack of 6 year olds but his heads not in it

Can't see us keeping Lescott after dropping for for attitude problems. Hopefully we get at least 20 mil for him and quick so we can get some other new faces in. Hopefully 4-5. Senderos wouldn't be a bad signing. Especially with the Jag out for a while still. Maybe another creative midfielder too. Add to that a right full back and winger (either side) and we shouldbe OK.

Its no longer a problem.

It seems logical that Moyes is only dropping lescott so he doesn't get cup-tied. We would get less less money from ManCity if he played in the game. Hopefully we have a good replacement lined up.
Also we have applied for a permit for Ever Banega from Valencia. Any thoughts on him?

Contradicting my above post as Man City didn't qualify, Moyes may be dropping him to make sure he improves his attitude. He wont want to be dropped because of England call ups etc.Man City will pounce on this situation and are sure to make a larger offer.

He's gotta go now otherwise he'll sulk his way thorough the season and bring the team down with it, training on his own away from the team shows his attitude is  beginning to have an effect on the other players and we can't have that, not for a team our size there can't be any divisions within the team, so I think Moyes is just waiting to finalise a new CB and off he can go.

All this sh*t though is taking away from the fact we are playing in the Europa league tomorrow and after Saturdays poor effort against  Arsenal I expect nothing less than a win from our boys

I read that after we finalise our champions league qualification, then you guys will likely be getting Senderos as we go after the rest of our transfer targets.

3-0 after 65 mins. Jackie R with 2 and Louis with the first. Jackie scored from 30 yards according to evertonfc.com (still the slowest website in the world).

Its no longer a problem.

Seems the sorry Lescott saga will soon be over and hopefully a tidy wee purse to spend in the transfer market 24 million the rumour and he can fark off to Siteh as well, plus a season long loan deal for Ever Bagna from Valencia the guy noted for performing a sex act whilst naked in front of his webcam but also turning players inside out on the field

Looking for a good win tonight really get the confidence going

Looks like JL is gone burger but for 24 mil it's not a massivley bad thing. Decent return on 3 mill we paid for him 3 years ago. We now have a week to spend it cause I'n not to happy with Phil Neville at centreback.

Its no longer a problem.

Or the Toon!

Q. Does Everton have "director of football"?
Q. Does said d.o.f. ignore the manager's requests for players and get in people the owner takes a fancy too?
Q. Does Everton have an inflated wage bill and no way of cutting it, but not much in the way of cash to acquire needed talent?

If you've answered yes to all three, we'll cross each other at the end of the season when we're going up and you're going to the fizzy pop league.

If you've answered no then you could yet pull out of it (even Spurs managed to stop the rot eventually)

Yes, no and definatley no. The third no is the reason we can't attract top players. Reportedly Moysie is the highest paid person on staff on 50k a week. We can't match the other big clubs for wages hence they choose Fulham, Man City, Spurs etc over Everton. We run to a profit (be it very small) each season and are one of the most finacially stable clubs in Europe.

Its no longer a problem.

Funny thing is Tesco wanted to build one for us in kirkby I believe that's just outside of the Liverpool city itself and would have cost us very little, but it got bogged down in bureaucracy and i can't see it being built now

We were poor today no question about that  Louis Saha sending the penalty wide summed up our day Well played though to Burnley deserved winners

Aw, come on, in a couple of years time you'll be saying remember when we lost only 1-0 to Burnley. Them were the days.

We'll do our best to level it out when we play Pool in 3 weeks. Might not be enough, but we'll do our best, honest.

I know, I know, its serious!

Nice work. Seems to have No 63 in each shot. I wonder if Moyse will let him where it. Also signed some Argie called Ever Banega apparently. From Valencia. Siome confusion around it though.

Its no longer a problem.
