well, we made a bit of hash of that

had some decent chances but caught on the break and made two serious errors

a bit of a reversal of the Cardiff experience

so after an 84 year wait, we are in an FA Cup semi final

3-0 Davies, Meyler, Fryatt

Attn all Auckland based Hull City fans (potentially only me and my Dad). Once the FA Cup semi is confimred I'm keen to all meet up for the game. It'll be in ESPN so maybe The Fox in town.

Let me know if anyones is keen. Might also be good to the the Sheffield United fan(s) along. We're geographical neighbours after all.

Funny story. My family are all Hull City fans (I was born there). My brothers wifes family are all Blades fans. Their son (my nephew) has both kits. Going to be an interesting few weeks in that household :-)

well, I think we will probably stay up after that 9th win of the season 

with 8 games to go Sir, Lord, King Steven Bruce's requirement of 10 wins to stay up looks very do-able

so, Fate, don't get all huffy - just deliver the goods!

went to the game last night, and my god it was terrible (although that was more our fault than yours).  First 20 minutes you were barely in our half, although we didn't create anything.  Then there was the penalty/red card incident - saw a replay of it in the pub later and it was hand ball by Mo, so you have every right to be aggreived (although you got a dodgy one at the KC earlier in the season, so it all evens out).  Next 60 minutes was god awful, with a deflected equaliser, a comical own goal and your 10 men having about 80% possession.  We had 1 corner in the second half. One fucking corner.....at home......against 10 men.......who all play for Hull.

Flat atmosphere, boring game, cold.  I cannot honestly say it was money well spent.

I suppose I can take some small consolation in your suffering ...

hope your folks are well and that both our sides stay up.

folks are in better health than West Ham at the moment.

Both sides will be fine, although in our case I am really not sure how.  You guys played some decent football at times, and I was impressed with the fact that Bruce kept 2 up front after you went down to 10 men.

Steve Bruce can do no wrong (well not much wrong) in my eyes

I love his interviews and he has done so well to keep us midd-ish table for much of the season

Our squad is looking a bit thin this weekend but his signings have been remarkably good

and for the first time in my life or my dad's we can say the words "city in the semi-final of the FA cup"

if that fool Allam would listen to the fans it could be an almost perfect season

p.s. that 'gritty' draw with chelsea seemed to have turned your season round

I think you uys are safe. Id love to see you win the cup. That would be brilliant for not just Hull fans but Hull in general.

anyways .. yes, I think we will stay up but i hope we don't drag it out like we did last season's promotion

a win v Swansea would help the last doubts to fade further away

and, yes, a Cup final appearance alone would be history making and if we get there, well it can be anyone's on the day - just ask sunderland, wigan, portsmouth, coventry etc etc

strange new experiences for Hull city fans this century!!

Enjoyed the Eye of the Tiger chant at Hull fans earlier this season at the Emirates.

went to the game, was an absolute corker.  Both sets of fans were great. Hull really lack pace and didn't look that comfortable forcing the play but were good value for the win in the second half.  Ourtickets included free half time beers, a truly outstanding experience

Having gone to the other semi-final on Saturday, I conceed that you won this round JD.

Gonna be great for the city if they win it and history would tell Hull CITY, FA Cup winners, NOT Hull Tigers. Glad the FA have seen some sense with this.

We're playing shit at the mo, Harry has lost the plot a bit by insisting on playing his Spurs buddies that to be honest, are not up for it. Playoffs, yes but whether we get to Wembley is not looking that good.

fulham at their place next up = a win - if we can nab it - should see us mathematically safe

well, we woke up after they woke up ...  to find ourselves two goals down

my last memory of European football was playing Lazio in Anglo-Italian cup in 1973 !! and a friendly v Kaiserslauten about the same year!

I'm genuinely relieved that Hull’s Premier League status and Everton’s European spot are both confirmed before this weekends game.
