Yes Torres thanks for the great present, brilliant way to start my day. I'm taking the day off now.

Got bragging rights for at least another season.

It would be nice to get Schalke in the next round, but we've never had much luck in the draw.

Taped game this morning told everyone at work not to tell me score, struggled through day got away early just watched game.Awesome Torres is the man,. what a goal. But isnt it typical every season we come right too late to win premier league. But I bet no one will want to draw us in champs league

Who would be the worst team to get in the draw? Arsenal are fading maybe? Barca have a lot of injuries but would still be scary (although we beat them last year), I think the worst team would be Manure. But would love to stick it up them if we won

Would love to beat manure more than anyone. But what bothers me is they always seem to sneak wins even in games we totally dominate.Would be too nervous for me.Dream come true otherwise

I'd feel confident in beating any of the non-English clubs in this round.

Then Chelsea in the Semi 'cos we know we can beat them in a cup semi.

Then the scum in the final

That would be my perfect scenario!

I don't care who we meet along the way, just another winning final is all i ask

it's getting to the nerve-wracking part of the season!!

I was reading the Liverpool website and they reckon (conspiracy theoory i know), that the latest statement from Hicks re no longer pursuing talks with DIC are a cover up to increase the price of the club? Watch this space as maybe DIC will finalise a purchase soon. Why do we always charge in the second half of the season? Arsenal may be a good option in the quarters as they have a lot of injuries and are stumbling a little at the moment.Tyler2008-03-13 17:00:54

So, we get to play the arse 3 times in a week!

Destiny is with us because once we beat the gunners we'll get to beat Chelski in another cup semi

I wonder what dramas will occur, especially in the Arsenal saga

3 more points, the streak continues. Torres gets 20 in the Prem, and Mascherano is gets off the mark...

Sh!t the next few weeks are going to be awesome

If my memory serves me right a few weeks ago we were about 20 points behind the leaders,we are at this moment only 8 behind. With the fixtures that are coming up you never know what will happen Everton may still join us in champions league, wouldnt that be great.

Hehehe, not if they drop points to teams like Fulham like they did this morning.

Its a pity Manure and Chelskea won this weekend, otherwise it would have been the perfect weekend.

from an alround point of view it's good to see that the European places are up for grabs and that the title still isn't sorted

there are a few crucial points being dropped (or almost dropped) at the moment - hopefully we've got our generosity out of the way earlier in the season !

as discussed on other threads and this one there's a hell of a run coming up for the Reds!!

It would be handy if Chelsea would drop a few points, they seem to consistently get 1-nil wins (except against Derby). That would make things really interesting. Especially to see if Abramovich would support Uncle Fester if things weren't going well at the bridge.

for some reason Man U and -especially - Arsenal look more like dropping points in the league,

it is in the cup comps though that Chelsea look vulnerable - it amazes me how arrogant they are with some of theuir selections for cup matches (a fault that Rafe seems to be getting over !)

still plenty to play for, for clubs at the top of the prem, and one of the grittiest quarters for UCL ever in Liverpool v Arse

Here's hoping liver take man u out this weekend aye i'll be cheering for you boys , kinda gutted liver vs arsenal 1/4 final as i dont mind liver that much compared to chelsea and man u. should be a crackin tie

Actually, this could be a big weekend.

We're only 8 points behind first. If we could sneak a win over the scum and arsenal and chelski play out a bore draw then things really start to get a bit tight at the top.

I am not for a minute suggesting we could still win the title but the 3 above us still have games against each other and if we keep getting results we could give them a scare. 3rd place is certainly not out of the question and potentially the second best points total from the last 5 years.

We always seem to play real well against the mancs but they screw us in the last minute. We are still in with a shot of 3rd with Chelsea 2nd and the Arse 4th!

None of them won while playing for the toffees

In fact the only thing he's achieved at Everton that he never achieved at the scum was to get a red card
