Yeah gonna be huge. Been on some good form of late. What's the chance Nemanja sees another red... Ah that guy loves going up against Torres and Gerrard.
Also, have to use sites like tiny URL, to link lfc.tv site, cause of that fun bit of code.

Gutted. I was really up for this, and thought when Torres put us ahead that the players were too. For about 5 minutes, I believed we would win! Rooney can get f**ked. Brilliant save from Reina. So unlucky. But a penalty? Ha! Give me a break. That was a TERRIBLE refereeing performance. All round. Just our performance was worse. Sorry Arsenal and Chelsea...
And the people laughing at Torres' miss annoy me so much. Yeah, Insua got done often. And the defending for Park's goal was as bad as Webb's performance.

Agger really helped man u for that pen, if you watch it he decides to move to the outside of valencia and creates a massive space for valencia to run into forcing mash who was wrong side of valencia into a foul. Didnt help that insua was very flat footed against valencia.

@ Buffon: You're welcome. Enjoy Barca!
Another 3 points slip away, even the one would have been helpful especially with Spurs and Citeh taking full points. Villa aren't taking their opportunities either... salvage 6th?TheKop2010-03-22 08:19:43

Im seriously contemplating making Sheffield Wednesday my first team in england, because im just not finding this season enjoyable or entertaining, I would find more entertaining, maybe not enjoyable, if I supported a team facing relegation. Im starting a Sheffield Wednesday thread.

If we finish 7th do we still make Europe?.....serious question!!
Only if Chelsea, Spurs or Villa (providing they remain/finish in a top 6 spot) win it. If Fulham or Pompey win it then they will get the final Europa League spot instead of 7th place.
Three for me, and two for them.

What has that got to do with Perennial strugglers Liverpool though?

Good luck.
We need 6th, can't afford to let other results help us get back in Europe. I'll take Europa at this stage. It's not a bad comp really...

defeats into double figures....this really has been the season from hell and i cant wait for it to be over....which is kinda sad.
i dont really care about 4th or even qualifying for the europa league to much, because as long as we have a manager who thinks its a good idea to play with defensive wingers were never guna win the league

Thanks for nothing.
Sorry! I would want the win for the pleasure of beating those bastards, but it would have been an added bonus in denting their chances for number 19 too. *sigh*
Hey you gave it a go. I was just venting. Good luck in still trying to claim 4th though

Oh and i'd ignore tom. He's only 12 and probably doesn't know the meaning of the word support.

Yes. Let's get over this season.
However, I still want to get fourth and win the Europa League! However naive and deluded I may be. I live in hope. But what I do know, is that of these "defensive wingers", one was the most effective winger last season. Yip. Better than Rooney.
Look, I get frustrated by Kuyt for always cutting inside/ breaking down the move. I get frustrated at Gerrard for not seeming to give a f**k. I get frustrated at Carra for hoofing it. In fact, the only two who I basically never critisise are Reina and Torres. But for f**ks sake. It'd be nice to see a bit of perspective. That was a pretty similar team that went there last year and won 1-4.

Fair enough. I remember my frustration at Spurs last year; losing 5-2!
Thanks, Buffy. We need a miracle now though!
Yeah, fair enough.

Its always been either Sheffield Wednesday or Perennial strugglers Liverpool as my first team, but I still support Perennial strugglers Liverpool and I think I always will, ive got 5 shirts and 2 scarfs,. its just that letting Alonso go really got me p*ssed off at Rafa because Alonso was always was my favourite player and now I just have this sense of negativity whenever we play, but ive sort of gotten over it. Hopefully(just for you)I will get some more support into me.

well thats a bit harsh, he clearly supports and shows interest in the two teams, hes only 12, you cant expect him to be a die hard fan already for a club on the other side of the world.

it was indeed an obvious foul outside the box

I use to respect Torres. But after watching that game he's just a c**t. Acts like a whining pussy.
Don't judge the man on one game, for a start.
And here comes a defence for the best striker in England. If you had to chase long balls all day long, you'd get pretty f**ked off. If you cared so much for this club, and despised United so much, then you'd get f**ked off that we weren't winning. If you loved like he did, you'd get f**ked off when they get a dodgy penalty to get them back into the game only five minutes after the elation of taking the lead. And if you think he's a whiny pussy, go have a f**king look at the game against Madrid, and you'll see a man totally focussed. Or at Old Trafford last year. I seem to remember Rooney throwing a ball at a ref last year... Don't you come on here and f**king critisise my Nando.
I saw PressPass last night (I know, what an idiot. Homework is a better option than that...) And Shaka was saying "Torres isn't a happy camper" etc and "Look at his attitude". I felt like screaming at him "HE'S SCORED 5 GOALS IN THE LAST 3 GAMES. IN THE SPACE OF A f**kING WEEK." And then he brought up the interview where Torres reportedly told Benitez to bring in at least 4 world class players or he'll leave. Now, I don't know Torres much better than Shaka, but he suffered at Atletico. For years. He could have moved anywhere in the world at any time. He could have gone to Madrid, Barca, Inter, United, Arsenal, Chelsea etc. But he didn't. Because he loved the club, and the people at Atletico. He was 19 when he was captain. He has dealt with pressure and failings before. All he wanted was to play in Europe with the club he loved.
And I can honestly say, I don't think Torres will leave this summer. Because he isn't like that. He loves it here; the fans, the city, the club. He is our talisman. He said not playing in the Champion's League isn't important, he just wants to see some intent. Sounds like he's having a go at the owners to me, not trying to get out.
I love Torres. Owen was the first striker I can honestly remember well (That brace against the Gooners in the FA Cup Final in 2001). But I never felt for him like I do for Torres. Torres gets it. He understands. And I feel like I'd trust him with my life. When I see him, I feel giddy. I feel excited (no, not in some queer sexual way!). He is my total hero. Even with Stevie, I don't feel it like I do with Torres. Fernando is awesome. He suffered for the club he loves. He stayed with them when everything was falling apart. He was, and is, a fan. He knows what football means to people, cos he understands it. In an increasingly cynical world of multi-millionaire modern footballers, here is someone who genuinely understands what the game is about. I am so proud to have him here.

is there such a thing as defensive wingers???
its a serious joke if you know what i mean...??
dirk kuyt obviously isnt in the team every single week because of his creativity and clinical finishing in the final third
Yeah. But neither is Park, to be fair.
