Sturridge back for tomorrow. Is he a straight replacement for Coutinho?

It probably feels like every knock he gets is a career ending one, when most players would play through. He's desperately unlucky. One more game out and he's missed as many games for us as he has played.

6th place, toughest away games out of the way, Hendo and Studge (fingers crossed) back and Lovren had a good game.

Heady times...

Safe to say we're past the new manager effect now, this team is really starting to hit its straps. I know it's blasphemous to wish them a win in the semi but I'd love a Liverpool/Everton final.

Wait until he starts recruiting players who natural suit his style! Absolutely loving how quickly our boys have adapted. Should be right up Hendo's alley too when he's back to full fitness.

Good times lads, good times.

With a massive thud!

At least most other teams we're chasing slipped up as well with the exception of Leicester the mangificent.

Yeah was hoping we'd be closing up the gap a bit after the saturday night results. Nope! Merrrrrrr!

Impressed again with Klopp's post-match comments though. Straight talker, no trying to dress it up, doesn't get carried away. Gold!

Just what we needed, that'll keep the team from getting carried away and came at an ideal time with most other teams slipping up as well. Ideal result heading in to the Christmas stretch. Onwards and upwards.

And Arsenal, who I'd be more worried about if I were you;

"Leicester’s next 11 league games include matches against Manchester City (twice), Liverpool (twice), Chelsea (h), Arsenal (a), Everton (a) and Tottenham (a)"

Love this quote from Klopp

"On the disallowed goal: “We got this goal – it was something like a Christmas present or whatever. We made our goal, but because we weren’t good enough today, the linesman thought, ‘Don’t make world-class goals if you play this sh*t.’”

They aren't getting near catching us. Not a chance.

Three for me, and two for them.

Do you think you will? Willing to take bets on it tbf. You don't have the squad to compete with us. Maybe after Klopp has a couple windows you might, but right now you don't.

Three for me, and two for them.

Not sure if we will but I certainly think it's possible, I have a lot of faith in Klopp at the moment and if he can get one or two top signings to gel immediately who knows what could happen. The key (as always) will be whether we can consistently maintain how good we are at our best and whether you lot can avoid fading in the final third of the season. I'd say your odds are slightly better in that equation but I definitely wouldn't say we are 'no chance' of catching you.

Surely the level of injuries must be worrying? One or two more crocked and you'll be on a slippery slope. If your current team stays fit and no further injuries we'll unlikely catch you as it stands right now but "...and Ozil has pulled up lame here!" could be the difference.

Fair call. Coquelin and Cazorla out for months is a huge worry, our season completely hinges on how we are going to cope with that.

But we do have a big squad and guys are coming back big time in the next month.

Ramsey is back, Walcott back tomorrow, Sanchez and Wilshere by the end of the month. Plus no one in defence injured at all at the moment.

Ozil going down would however be an absolute killer.

Back to a front 3 made up of Lallana, Firmino and Coutinho is due back next game? ...is Benteke right for the way we play? Would you play Origi given the hattrick surely did wonders for his confidence.

That front three works great for me. Would just be great to have Sturridge come off the bench.

Seriously hoping Wilshere can recover from all his issues
