I've put a cheeky $10 on City to qualify, paying $60.

City 6 bucks to go through? Might slap a sneaky hundy to cover possible heartbreak.

Happiness insurance but to be honest I'd need to be winning $10k

Big match on Saturday.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I think Coutinho might be regretting his decision now......

10 Apr 20:55

BOOM

What a result for you fellas, actually winning the 2nd leg as well.

Huge chance to win the Champs League now, especially with Barca going out... Coutinho lol

10 Apr 23:48

Liverpool through to the semis, great result, the more ambitious players in your squad will be bloody happy.

Oh wait, hang on a sec...

11 Apr 04:14

Liverpool have now wrecked two City coaches in one week

"...sure beats doin' stuff."

12 Apr 04:07

Crazy game in Madrid this morning!

Draw for the semis is 11pm tomorrow night NZT, exciting!!!!

13 Apr 11:18

Roma!!! First leg at Anfield!

13 Apr 21:52

best possible draw, lucky buggers

definitely earned after drawing m.city in the last round mind you...

14 Apr 07:55

Pleased with Roma, but under no illusion that it will be easy. Their defensive record suggests they could be the type of team we struggle against sometimes. Optimistic though, reckon we’re a good nudge to take out the whole comp at this point.

15 Apr 04:04

Another decent win. Rumours Salah has been awarded all three goals on appeal.

24 Apr 21:35

First 25 minutes all Roma. Dare I say we were out-Klopped? The Hendo got the whip cracking and for the next hour were were virtually unplayable. Shame about Ox but Gini did well coming on. I can see why Klopp took Mo off but our momentum fell away . Firmino and Mane were unsighted. Roma will be happier with losing 5-2 than we will with winning 5-2. Away goals priceless , and we know what they did to Barca. No prizes for guessing how the next leg will go.  Roma will be at our throats from the off and it will be squeaky bum time if they knick an early goal. Seems funny to be a bit nervous after such an hour of glorious football but that last 10 minutes has completely changed the tie.

Salah is a pretty likeable fella. Hasn't even had a yellow card this season!

Glad he won PFA player of the year.

Hilarious that both he and the close 2nd for that award were binned by Mourinho.

Klopp summed it up.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

25 Apr 03:57

I don't think Mourinho cares that he binned Salah and KDB. At the end of the day he was successful at Chelsea and knew full well neither reign would last forever.

It is Chelsea that should be furious. Definetly need to reflect on their own managerial and transfer policy.

28 Apr 08:03

Getting a bit thin in midfield huh? No Ox, Can or Lallana. Hendo has a questionable history too. Hope we can sustain the energy

Signs a new contract!!!

Video coming out of Salah having a bit of a swing at Martins Indi. Pretty hard to excuse what does look like a punch.

Probably just frustrated he doesn't get to eat bacon.

Three for me, and two for them.

So Buvac is being linked to the Arsenal job, that's interesting.

You guys think there's any truth to it?

Surely that can't be a reason for a fall-out between him and Klopp, even Klopp would have to understand that an assistant might jump at the chance to manage another club?

Could all be bollocks though, obviously. It's all very convenient for the rumour mill.

01 May 22:01

Don't think there's any truth to it at all.

Yea it does seem like a classic case of 2+2=5 to be fair

A mate is coming down from Napier to watch the final at 4 kings. After this season I thought I might treat myself and come along to watch some (hopefully) good football.

Do we need tickets / booking or anything?

Event isn't ticketed and both bars will be open, Four Kings (down stairs) and Jack Hackett's (upstairs).

  • Doors open at 6:15am
  • Aim is to fill Four King's first
  • Breakfast will be available but may be a limited menu
  • Alcohol available from 8am
  • There will also be some raffles as part of the AED fundraising that LFC Wellington is doing

"...sure beats doin' stuff."

Now that Stoke are relegated, I would be interested in Liverpool chasing Jack Butland as a goal keeper.  England's' best in my humble opinion

I think we should be aiming higher than Butland. Distribution wise, Karius is much better than Butland over the course of the season and they are on a par in regards to performance.

Buvac and Klopp have kissed and made up? Believe that rumour?

13 May 08:58

Top four in the morning? Feeling confident?

13 May 19:50

Secure top four on the last day for the second year in a row. Pretty happy with that to be honest

Superb display, great to see them cut loose in a way that had been missing in the league over the last month or so.

By the way, how great have this seasons signings been? Salah, Robertson, Solanke, Ox and Van Dijk. Solanke is obviously a work in progress but that’s a pretty amazing strike.

With Keita on his way in, who would you like to see added and who would you be happy to see go (sold, released or loaned)?

My summer wish list would be:

 - A top keeper in (Oblak or Alisson as rumoured would do nicely), Mignolet out

 - Another left back in, Moreno out. Another centre back in (which realistically means Matip probably goes?)

 - A defensive midfield to replace Emre Can, assuming he leaves as rumoured

 - Another striker (Ings doesn’t fill me with confidence and Solanke/Woodburn just aren’t at the top level yet).

I reckon a keeper and a centre back are the priorities, if we splash out on those two and then let Klopp see what bargains he can get to fill out the rest of the squad I’ll be happy.

15 May 07:12

Also curious about whether we’ll see many of this seasons loanee players back next season. Anyone have any idea how they’ve been going?
