Plus Emre missed a goal and Salah. Could have been 4-1 at half time. Ah well, still a way to go in the group

Averaged an attempt at goal almost every two minutes this morning and still drew. Yay.

Scraped through this morning. I'll take the points tho

Fudge it. Again.

I'm so sick of us being described as this wondrous attacking team. Bollocks. 13 goals after 7 games just isn't good enough (and 4 of those win one game against the Arse), especially when you've conceded 12.Wondrous attacking teams are ruthless , and do to us what City did .

The squad just isn't good enough. Cout  was magic again this morning but he's a one man band currently.

2 questions for those who may know. First , what's Harry Wilson done or not done to be nowhere near first team action? Second- any takers on Klopp being sacked or quitting this year and Benitez being asked back? Yes , I know this is facetious but Klopp's faith in his current squad is laughable .

Positives: Back on the Joe Gomez hype train, didn't lose. Firmino, Salah and Coutinho looked great at times. As did Gini and Can.

Worries: Continuing to create great chances but not finishing, also having lapsing allowing one on one situations with Mignolet

Yay, goals! And consecutive clean sheets.

18 Oct 08:57

we want 8!

18 Oct 09:56

Other result in the group was pretty crazy eh?! Spartak spanked Sevilla 5-1.

19 Oct 09:18

craziness! Surely it puts us in good stead for winning the group. Two home games then a tough one away in Spain

05 Nov 05:48

Couple of league wins back-to-back, good stuff. Must say it wasnt until Salah smashed that fourth in that I thought 'yeah we've got this' haha! Onwards and hopefully upwards! Also, great to see Mane back so quickly!

hey all, haven’t been on here in ages.

Know some of you hardcore LFC fans aren’t on social media so wanted to let you know about this:

http://www.lfcwellington.co.nz/support-your-local-team/

We are keen to get people along to Phoenix games, if that means sitting with fans of their ‘first’ team, wearing whatever kit they want, then so be it. In case there are any concerns, the Nix are fully behind this.

Hope to see some of you guys and gals there!

Result! I'll tentatively suggest that things seem to be heading in the right direction. The midweek trip to Spain will be a good indicator.

Freaking typical....feel that hope rising again

Ah yes, hope...... the natural enemy of the Liverpool/Phoenix/AWs supporter.

In saying that, I'm quite looking forward to the game tomorrow morning!

21 Nov 21:44

Yeah nah.

22 Nov 03:15

Jordan Henderson completed 55% of his passes against Sevilla.

Jordan Henderson also failed to win a single tackle against Sevilla.

He also didn't attempt an aerial duel.

Super-sub Salah!  Have only caught the highlights from this morning, hoping to watch the full match in the next couple of days but a very pleasing result anyway. Back above spurs!

30 Nov 01:18

Wow, what about Salah, guy cannot stop scoring. I was sceptical when you bought him, I thought he could end up a flop, but what a start to his career at Liverpool. Machine.

02 Dec 21:47

Absolute ripper goals this morning! The 100m break for the 3rd and Lil Phil's beaut sneaky free kick were just great.

Up into fourth and Spartak next......

Also...... that was never a pen and I had a good chuckle after Firmino scored his first. Went to take his shirt off, obviously had second thoughts and started wagging his finger. Assume Klopp has had words about stupid yellows and they are the stupidest.

03 Dec 02:59

isn’t it great having a whole range of scoring options too

Indeed, very dynamic on attack! The trouble is at the other end. I really hope we're shopping in January!

Didn't score on weekend but still got involved with an assist. The counter attacking speed is frightening - from the moment Mingolet saved the point black effort, the ball was in the net at the other end within about 15 seconds

Couldn't watch this morning unfortunately but another goal fest!

Very interested in the draw for the round of 16 next week, a few big hurdles in there.

Real, Bayern and Juve all in the potential mix as opponents.

07 Dec 03:02

Ruthless on our day huh

07 Dec 03:09

What’s up with Coutinho not celebrating? Packing his Spanish bags?

07 Dec 08:30 · edited 07 Dec 08:31 · History

Yeah did find that odd too. Hoping it was something to do with being captain rather than already being out the door.

How good were Mane's two finishes?! Did so well to put either of them on target.

11 Dec 00:25

Klopp = passion.

Did you see his interview after the match?

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Porto!!! Pretty happy with that. Not easy by any stretch but happy to have avoided Real, Bayern & Juve.

Pretty disappointing result yesterday but that's us unfortunately. Some good chances to seal it and not stick ourselves in the position where one moment of brilliance or stupidity can cost points. Nope.

Nice to get one back in the win column. Salah's 20th goal of the season already, fantastic stuff. First since Ian Rush in 1986 to have 20 before Christmas for Liverpool.

The old yellow fever derby on Saturday morning......bring back a few of the old Liverpool thread legends. The Kop, Milky Pisswit, Malky , Jazzman Linds.

27 Dec 21:34

Van Dijk deal agreed.

70 Mil rising to 75 with add-ons.

Hopefully this sees Lovern on the bench for a while.

Now to sort out our goal keeping issues.

27 Dec 22:22

Yay, finally! Still seems like crazy money for a CB but we're certainly desperate.

Pretty handy win yesterday too! Coutinho was unplayable at times. The club should give him absolutely anything to stay!

All football money is stupid money these days. Just enjoy the circus!

Still a better deal than Lukaku and  Pogba

If that's what it takes to get someone who can anticipate at the back rather than just react (lovren, moreno) then so be it!

Roll on 2018!
