i also heard the puppet story first, however cant think where it was first.

Wouldnt trust tevez as far as i could spit him and most united fans seem to aggree. All he ever does is piss and moan and go running to the papers. When he drops away from this little purple patch of form hes in and gets dropped again he'll soon be off to The Sun (yet again) with another little money making venture.

He is a great player, but a low life. As a Utd supporter I have always said that he was one of the best players but I never liked him. Low Life.A bit like Maradona
Next week I hope that they stick him over the sideline?

Tevez is right. Neville is a bootlicking c**t. Most vile c**t in English football over the past two decades.

Three for me, and two for them.

thats harsh, considering Joey Barton is still a professional footballer.

The one thing that's good about this Tevez "affair" is that some accurate comments about Neville are finally being aired.

A Neville quote ""I can't stand Perennial strugglers Liverpool, I can't stand Perennial strugglers Liverpool people, I can't stand anything to do with them."dairyflat2010-01-23 00:58:24
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

What people cant handle is Neville is as one eyed about his club as most supporters. Good on him I say - better than grubby mercenaries like Tevez

i dont really agree with you guys on tevez, but i wont argue, i know what it's like... he's your adebayor...

not completely the same - ade's departure was fairly transparent, everyone knows he's a Twit... whereas there seems to be a he-said she-said going on with tevez' departure... would love to eventually know exactly what went on there. But still, i know the pain, and can see why you fellas hate him. If i was a manU supporter i'd hate him with a passion!

And on the neviller... i despise him. But if one of the arsenal players acted like that i'd love him to bits!

I used to love some of henry's quotes about spurs. And his goal celebration at highbury

Nothing like a well-loved player displaying his hate for your fiercest rivals, really endears you to your own fans - and that's all that really matters when you love your club that much right?

Nah, he's pretty much just a c**t.

He's aiming to be as much of a c**t as Martin Keown was. Failing miserably, but still trying.

Is right. Absolutely right. An utter utter c**t. Horrible prick. What a complete t**ser.

Maradona is f**king class, don't compare Tevez to him.

Anyway those on about Tevez wanting to make money. You would too if you came from his background. I bet if you grew up in the slums of Buenos Aires you would do anything for extra cash too.

Three for me, and two for them.

Well, that's pretty unfair. You don't even know what growing up in Buenos Aires is like. I bet you're alright with your MySky and all that!

I don't have MySky... lol... and once you've grown up in Buenos Aires but have been living on a footballers wage for a decent amount of time, the fact he went to City over a million or so makes it worse.

I wasn't talking about him going to City though Michael. I was referring to a comment made by one of your fellow supporters above about Tevez making some money off a story to the Sun. If you had lived in poverty all through your childhood you would do the same, don't even think about saying you wouldn't.

The guy ia a low life. The fact that he came from a poor part od BA means nothing. I came from a poor part of Auckland, but I would not behave in the way he has.Just because you are from a low income family does not mean that the world owes you a living?

Ok moron, where do i begin?

HUGE difference between the poor parts of Auckland and Buenos Aires. For starters NZ has a welfare system, Argentina doesn't. Second the average wage packet even for a lower class family here is much higher than in Argentina. Third the population of Buenos Aires is about 10 times larger that that of Auckland.

Where does Tevez say the world owes him something? He's made it in life through working had in spite of adversities throughout his childhood. He's never once said the world owes him anything so stop making things up.

Three for me, and two for them.

All this talk of Tevez in this thread should have ended when he moved to Man City. Carry on the conversation there please.

Rooney with 4 goals. Could have had more. Nani had a decent game, first in a while, with some excellent crosses and set pieces. Owen should have scored a couple as well (not good missing chances like that if he wants to get back into the England squad). Some nice one touch passing and interplay in periods of the game.

whilst I'm annoyed you guys have gone to the top of the table, I'm happy coz Rooney is the captain of my fantasy team. conflicted i am (worst Yoda impersonation ever)

Nani was outstanding I thought. That performance came out of nowhere for him and I am happy to say if he can consistently be that good, then him and Valencia will be a very, very good set of wingers.

Rooney was incredible. To think it is only this season he has become an out and out goal scorer and he is the top scorer... great stuff. A couple of goals in a 2-0 win on Thursday morning and I will be a very, very happy chappie.

Still think Nani's decision making could be better... he always manages to beat players but takes the shot himself so it comes to nothing.

I will have to watch a few Fulham games and see how he goes. He played this morning, but they got beat 2-0 at Tottenham.

Edit: Of course he is staying at Fulham for the rest of the season and joining us in the off season.

The opinion piece on soccernet suggests this allows for the sale of Vidic and/or Ferdinand to offset our debt.

Real Madrid? Yes please. He could get injured for ages and that'd be good. Plus Kun would destroy him...

Well we've played most of the season without him, and we are top of the league (I know, I know). I'm happy with Jonny Evans alongside Rio, it's the Vidic - Brown combo I'm a tad worried about, not sure about the intelligence and the over the top meat axeness. Vidic - Ferdinand is of course the ultimate partnership.
