Shoot.

Season defining match here, I can feel it. We did really well to bounch back from the goal down, but that will not help.

Excellent point. If Everton hold on then all of a sudden we've halved their lead with 10 men at Villa.

Come on Phil, Timmy and Louis (and the other 8 guys!)

I think in the wash up this point, away from home, against a good side, with 10 men, could be key. But that United v Chelsea game, as well as our trip to City, loom as massive fixtures. I fancy us at OT against Chelsea, but anything can happen in those City derbies.

Chelsea dropped 3 points on us in a week (sort of as they got a draw in the catch up game you would expect them to win at Hull), and we are starting to hit our straps. We have to go to Goodison next time out I think, very, very interesting.

10 own goals this season!

I watched the game live and even after Nani got the red card Utd were still in it.
They payed 60 mins with 10 men and they still looked like the could win it.
I am happy with the point. Possession was 50-50.
Was not a good result for Villa.

i saw some yellow and green scalfs being worn by man utd supporters. whats the dealio?
Permalink Permalink

They are the original colours of Newton Heath, United's predecessors. Wearing them is a sign of protest against the Glazer's ownership, as banners and such are taken off fans.

You won't be allowed them against Milan away haha.

Three for me, and two for them.

Gutted Giggsy broke his arm, he'll be missed for the next few weeks!
Permalink Permalink
about 16 years ago · edited about 5 years ago · History
Yeah this might be a huge loss for Man Utd, Giggsy is as always important figure. Time for Valencia and J.S.Park to play on the sides (with Nani out on suspension).
Great games incoming this week.

Obviously Nani can play Wednesday, will be interested to see if he does or if he's a tad in the doghouse. Park will be a sure starter for Milan I think.

im picking that we'll see the same midfield shape as we have in recent times, carrick fletch and scholesy with any of nani, valencia and park pushing up with roon.

will be very interesting to see when (and if) vidic makes his return from 'injury'...

If the replacements do slip in, may be Giggsy's time to step over. I Giggs though.Michael2010-02-15 21:44:15

Milan, here we come!

Game is too late for me, so I won't be seeing it.

Yeah same for me, I'll follow it at work. I'll take the morning off for the second leg but I've got too much sh*t on at moment.

Bit stink though.

It is on live on sbs australia at 8:45am. If you have a non approved freeview decoder you will be able to pick it up off the same satellitte that sky is on. (Optus D1)

Normally it's Moody Penalty
but this year it seems Own Goal will be your second leading scorer

Everton to put the hard word on this weekend I reckon
Wolves may have beat Paper Bag Spurs twice but they'll do it tough v Chelsea
so pressure

It is, the away goal rules means that we have a very big cushion going back to Manchester. Still should be a good game, no room to switch off. Can't wait for the reception for Becks either.
