i love how u wait till after ur ahead to come and attack
Permalink Permalink

that makes sense doesn't it?  i mean theres nothing to attack or be happy about when we're behind man u...
and the two things i responded to were from the day arsenal drew with birmingham and you guys went top.  even thought it was only goal difference as soon as man u went top everyone who had hopped on the bandwagon started posting things like the messages i responded to, so really you lot are no different at all...

Why the hell couldn't you just hold on and beat the f**kers though Harry? Pretty slack i must say. No wonder you're still mid-table.

Three for me, and two for them.

Sadly, our start to the campaiign means that mid table obscurity (again!) was the best we could hope for - especially as the entire premiership seems to have divided in half, if you see what I mean.

The orc from argentina claimed the goal, but it is now credited as an own goal...I'm not sure if I want to laugh or cry!

Laugh. I hear it's the best medicine. Or cry into your beer all night. Up to you.

Just be aware muso that the last time we played you in both the FA Cup and the Premier League at OT we won.

Three for me, and two for them.

and we should have won at the emirates earlier in the season, so lets just leave it clean and see how the games go

This week is the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster.  As no Man U fans on here have bothered to mention it (do you even know?) I will do it for you.

Apparently all the current Man U team were made to watch a special DVD about the disaster so they understood what it was all about.  They were apparently quite moved.  Modern footballers eh?

Certainly at a time when footballers never cease to amaze me with their greed, lack of loyalty and sheer stupidity (or all three in the case of Ashley Cole), it's worth remembering how a potentially great team was absolutely destroyed by such a tragic event.  We often hear the name of Duncan Edwards mentioned and we'll never know just how great he could have been.

It's a sobering thought that United are making the most of the "opportunity" to market some Munich related merchandise (fifty quid for a Busby Babes shirt, sponsored poster outside the stadium etc.).  While I can't like Man Utd at any price (and my own club are not much better these days), I will spare a few minutes on 6 Feb to remember those who died in the name of football.

It doesn't matter who you support, it should be a day when all football fans remember.

I read that there is quite a bit of concern that the moment's silence might be disrupted in the Manchester derby. You'd like to hope that won't happen - anyone deliberately making noise would be a true disgrace.

yeah i've read about the munich air disaster anniversary, havent talked about it on here, but it is a truely saddening part of football history.

n beav, apparently i am at the mo as no one seems to defend me against the hordes of gunners around here :P o and we were repaying the favour for Birmingham :P anyone got a accurate tally of current goal difference between us? could be a factor again this season

Man City fans shouldn't boo it especially as one of their all time greats Frank Swift was killed in the crash too.
