his priority is the league (let's be honest, the league cup was fucked as soon as we got Man City over 2 legs).  So far, being focused on the league has seen us in 2nd bottom, with one win in about the last 9 games (not sure of the facts, but it is pretty fucking terrible).

Getting fucked 5-0 in the cup by lower league opposition is not acceptable, I don't give a fuck what your priorities are.

And why the fuck does not getting humiliated in the cup mean that we have to roll over in our next 2 games?

Mourinho, Wenger, Rodgers, Martinez and Moyes are in a bar.

Yeah well, "spot on" wasn't he? The 6-0 first leg Capital One spanking proved it was a waste of time resting his first-choice players in the FA Cup game.

They never had a chance against Man City anyway in a two-legged semi. In my opinion should have fielded  a stronger side in the FA Cup tie v Forest, a game they actually had a  chance of winning. I know they had injury  and suspension problems but still shouldn't have thrown the game like that...

I agree with Sky Sports UK on this one: "Allardyce ...handed out a total of five debuts, three from the start and two more off the bench, among nine changes to his team. It was a gamble that backfired horribly as the relegation-battling Hammers simply had their confidence further assaulted by lower-league opposition."

Premier League sides manage to play Champions League/ Europa League games midweek without fielding pathetically weak sides in EPL games either side of them... 

And plenty of us still give a fuck about the FA Cup.

By the way, West Ham are my second team after Charlton, so I care what happens to them...

All the while I was on holiday we lost every game. 3 points is all I can say about this effort. First half Swansea were much the better side.

Moyes needs to get rid of at least 8 players.

Have to disagree about Saturdays game. For all Swanseas dominance in the first half De Gea wasn't tested, and United should have been up 1 nil.

In the second half United should have scored 5 or 6. This performance was much like a number over the past few years under Fergusson.

I thought a heap of praise was lumped on Januzaj, when it was actually Shinji coming inside that made the difference against Swansea. He retained the ball very well and kept looking to probe and keep the ball moving around. Should of scored a goal to be fair though.

Outside of a couple of very poor defensive errors I thought Utd played better than I've seen for a long time. I hate them losing but if the oppo is better and we still played reasonably well then I can take it.

Laughing at some of the comments from 'other' supporters who wanted us to get a result so they have a better chance at the title.

I have got news for you. Don't worry about Chelsea because City will run you down and win by 10 points.

Just finished watching  Man Utd v. Chelsea replay on Sommet Sport - Utd the better side in first half + even the Chelsea TV commentator agreed Vidic shouldn't have been sent off! I think United will win by two goals against Sunderland.

Read marcotti's piece on ESPN for a good breakdown of a possible Mata move. In my view Mata to Man U could rejuvenate, much like ozil to arsenal. But true, we have too many wingers, not enough midfielders.

where will they play Mata?  Assuming everyone is fit Moyes either keeps what appears to be his favoured 4-4-2, with Mata on the left wing (and Rooney in behind RVP), or he goes to a 4-2-3-1 with Mata, Rooney and someone else behind RVP. This puts too much pressure on their 2 in centre midfield as Mata does not track back enough (which is why Chelsea are getting rid of him).  Rooney will go in the summer, which means that Mata will play their from next season, but I see the end of this season being even more of a massive clusterfuck for them.

Mata would be wasted on the wing and I agree Rooney is likely to head out in the summer.

I'd like to see a 4231 with whoever is left of RVP/Welbeck/Hernandez/new striker TBA up top; three of Kagawa, Mata, Nani, Janujaz as the 2nd line; two new deep playmaking hardworkng midfielders (currently Carrick/Fletcher/Jones/Cleverly), with whoever is going to play in the backline, assuming Evra and Vidic may be on their way out, that's probably another 2 signings there too. Fellaini has to go, and I'd happily let go of Cleverly, Young, Valencia. Giggs will retire and probably Rio (or move ot MLS).

So shopping list of 5: striker, 2 playmaking mids, CB and LB
