That was very amusing.

Still, if he keeps playing the way he is, I'll overlook it.

All he needs to do now is grow the beard, wear some bling and say to Mad Jens "Shut up fool"

Argh now 2-1 behind in the 35'. I hope this isn't the end of our unbeaten streak!

By the sound of things Gilberto is looking average.

Please don't tell me he's injured...

Well apparently he was grimacing a bit. Please don't let it be serious.

3-1 loss.

The end of our glorious unbeaten run.

Oh well, we're through anyway.

I'm more worried that Cesc might be injured.

We can still get top if we win at home against Steaua and Sevilla don't win at Slavia. Arsenal2007-11-28 13:53:25

no word on RVP, hope he is back soon though!

As for CL, not looking too bad really.. not sure what others think, but I dont mind being drawn against a 'harder' team straight of the bat. We do have to eat them anyway if we are going to win it. At this stage it could be Porto, Real, Barca, Inter... and a few more. Wouldnt it be sweet to knock Barcalona out? And man I hope L'fool do not win in Marseille.. haha

Read today that cesc thinks he will be fine, and that coming off was more precautionary. fingers crossed!

RVP out for at least another 3 weeks. gutted

Cesc's looks doubtful and helb and clichy are out by the sounds of it,  thats 3 of our form players. Hopefully we can get through this "injury" period ok. Carlos Vela the 18yr old mexican striker on loan in spain will be in gunner colours next year

Very worried about the game vs Villa. Looking likely we won't have Cesc.

And Villa are in superb form

Yes it is a little concerning. But we can do it!

Fab definitely out now.

Hleb and Clichy to have fitness tests. Assuming those 2 fail, what would be our team?

Mine;

                 Almunia

Sagna  Toure  Gallas  Traore

Eboue  Flamini  Gilberto  Theo
                  Rosicky

                   Ade

I think he might start with two up front though. Maybe a start for Eduardo?

Same team but with Theo on the bench, Rosicky on the left, and Eduardo partnering Ade upfront.

Nice 2-1 win over Villa this morn. Now 5 points clear at the top.

Three for me, and two for them.

I tried to stay up for it but failed. Good to see us bag 3 points.

On another note, my pool options this week have been great so far. If I nail the three games tonight I could see some coin.

Yeah i failed to stay up too, anyone got links to decent highlights of the game not just 10 second clips of the goals in arabic commentary?

Three for me, and two for them.

Just checked the vids again. 22 seconds into the Ade goal vid, was something thrown at Ade?

Great win, how good was flamini's rocket aye didnt think is was capable of such power. We were a bit lucky in the 2nd half but hey we will take the 3points. Ade worked his ass off as usual. Helb continues to amaze me hopefully he's injury isnt serious. On a side note good to see ex gunner bentley and larsson having good games in the weekend

Drawn Burnley away in the FA Cup 3rd Round. Could be a bit tricky but should pass comfortably.

Three for me, and two for them.

Win against Villa was crucial, and a great team building exercise I reckon. Without Fab and Hleb on the field we don't hold posession so well - good to see us knuckling down and defending our *sses off. Pity about Van Persie still out for 3 weeks. Hope that Hleb isn't out for too long - he is awesome this season. Fab should be back next weekend.

I saw someone mention that Essien will be out for the Chelsea/Arse match - is that confirmed? Is he really suspended for enough games to miss that?

yeah i'm pretty sure he will miss the gunners game, yeah helb and fab will miss game against newcastle i think, diarra was good in the 1st half but faded away in the 2nd
