Unless you win 4-0 you can't go second and you could even drop to about 7/8
I doubt you will beat the Chq Champs by that score.
Lets hope the Utd supporters don't let themselves down at the Emirates like the bogans did at Spurs.
If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Good result that, happy to see us getting a few goals, Sanchez being himself and our two strikers getting a goal.
Was happy with that Walcott performance and wouldn't mind seeing him start vs United.
Great work Paul and Foal on captaining Sanchez, if only I had, I'd still be top of my league!

rojas, so special
Yeah, I guess what it shows was that as soon as Arteta and Flamini had to be relied upon for two games on the trot they couldn't handle it. Sure you can't plan for it, but you can certainly see there being a good chance of being stretched thin.
Exactly that. Yeah you can't always plan for 3 injuries in the same position but you can certainly plan for one by having adequate backup which is not exactly something noone thought needed. It's certainly no surprise that players who are old and crocked are, well, crocked the first time they are required to come in for 2 games other trot.
Not one person around here said in the off-season that we needed a DMF because the current three might all get injured at the same time. Can't really say it's no surprise, because it is surprising!
To have two players in the same position injured in one game is always rare. Particularly when the guy ahead of them is already injured.
We all just wanted an improvement in quality at DMF, nothing to do with injuries/numbers at all - we wanted Flamini out and a shiny new guy in.
Arteta and his injuries still would have been here, and we'd still be in this exact same position - unless we had a crystal ball so that we knew the new guy wouldn't get injured, ever.
No, we needed a backup DMF because we knew what we had was inadequate - Arteta was crocked and Flamini wouldn't cut it and both have proved correct. But, no point going around in circles about it. Let's hope Coq is fit and not rushed back because we're desperate.
Anyone got a working stream?
Ospina???
Jaysus.
Wenger gonna get it in the neck for that decision if that ends up being a deciding goal, and deservedly so. Cannot disagree more with Ospina getting these champions league games.
I mean I love the guy, but Cech is the best keeper in our team, end of story. Give Ospina the FA and League Cups, go for it, but not the Champions League. Our no.1 Keeper deserves these games.
No other manager could get away with resting players in the first 2 CL games and losing them both. Shockingly poor management especially given we lost to Chelsea anyway. And it's United this week so its not likely to make much difference. Going to be a pretty toxic atmosphere at the Emirates if we lose to them again.
