Bellerin has more assists than Fabregas this season.

How old is Leggy?  Is he 12 or 72?

Yes but did have the benefit of not being coached by Mou

We are having a girl in about a month, someone sent me that story, and I actually tried it on with the missus over email, she didn't pick up the reference but was not a big fan of the name...

Foal, I believe Sanchez is unavailable, but can't remember where I read that now... just googled and physioroom says he's back on Jan 17;

I don't think we should be rushing him back (not that you're saying that Paul) as Liverpool all have snapped hammies and we've got enough momentum up front with Giroud, Ozil, Campbell, Walcott, and to a lesser extent the Ox firing. If it was a midfielder on the other hand...

So I'm guessing tomorrow we'll see:

             Giroud

Walcott Ozil Ox/Campbell (hard to tell who gets the nod)

       Ramsey Flamini

Monreal Kosc Per Bellerin

                Cech

Confirmed Burnley for the 4th round of the cup. January is now Liverpool, Stoke, Chelsea, Burnley. Given the congestion of the Christmas period I think January, although tough opposition, is actually a chance to rest a little before the big end of year push.

Game is Thurs 9am. I'd be happy with that lineup, unless Wenger wants to take the plunge with Chambers at DM, or have Arteta start - Flamini just back from a niggle so may be short.

Campbell over the Ox for sure at the moment. He's just giving us so much right now, both on attack and defence. Probably our form player in the attacking end outside of Ozil.

This week is going super slowwwwwwwwww. Wish it was actually tomorrow ha!

Agree with this. It's just tough for the Ox as he keeps showing glimpses of hitting exciting form again.

Although his stat's aren't great, just 3 goals last year from 37 appearances.

This season he's only scored once (community shield) from 25 appearances (12 starts).

Last season Whoscored had him as a 7.15 in the EPL, now he's down to 6.57.

Joel Campbell on the other hand is on 3 goals from 18 appearances (12 starts) but is only getting a Whoscored 6.65 in the league.

Statistically Campbell is slightly ahead but is scoring which is a critical difference.

I loved that ball ox gave bellerin from the outside of his boot in the lead-up to the third goal against Sunderland.

Something about using the outside of the boot that really gets me going... I love it when Rosicky does it...

Burnley at home is a handy draw - think we may see some more rotation that weekend.

Rosicky could be on the bench v Liverpool, it's been awhile!

Back in time for his annual Feb-March run.

That'll suit me fine, he can be a great help with FA cup etc. I've got a massive soft spot for Rosicky, such a shame we haven't seen more of him (like so many other perm treatment table players we have).

Talking about players that never play, anyone seen how Abou is going?

Pretty fun game. Guess the player from his transfer history and see how many you can get in 2 minutes.

That's an excellent game! I got 90 points (10/11 correct).

Game live on TV1 tomorrow morning. Mention in the Liverpool thread of them watching at The Pub on the Terrace. Could nipping out of work for a 9-11am "meeting" be plausible? Boss is not back until next week....

Great goals there paul, he almost has a record in recent times similar to that of Pires against the yids.

Liverpool without a few of their defenders tomorrow, anything less than a win will be a disappointment. Ozil should be flying after having the weekend off

That ball from Campbell though! First goal was crap from Walcott dribbling out of his own box, urgh!

Our players all seem way too far apart, while Liverpool can only score when they ricochet off our players in the build up. Urgh.

Giroud won't live that miss down!
Permalink Permalink

Few thoughts: 1) Giroud needs to stop being caught off side 2) All players have to move the ball faster, can't keep turning into trouble.

Disappointing not to win in the end but I think Liverpool turned in an excellent performance, and with Man C dropping points I'm happy to stay top.

Two tough games to come. Sanchez back would be lovely but must say we're missing Coquelin the most out of anyone right now.

That hurts not seeing that out. Thought Bellerin would have tracked the run & possibly Cech could have done better.

Should be putting away mid table teams but, given other results, a pretty decent round for us.

Cracking game, end to end stuff.

The Twitterverse is awash with AFC fans ridiculing Klopp for celebrating Allen's goal...not sure why...a point against top of the table given recent results is worth celebrating IMO.

Giroud is a beautiful player (great finishes) matched only by his face.

"...sure beats doin' stuff."

Yea that's messed up I would been celebrating like a madman if I were in Klopp's shoes.

3-3 a fair result I think, just feels a bit like a loss having led until that late.

Man City dropping points softens the blow.

It was great/awful to watch from an LFC view as well... 1 - 0 up (concede 4 mins later) 2 - 1 up (concede 6 mins later) then AFC take the lead. At that point I was head in hands.

I absolutely love Arsenal vs Liverpool matches, there is always high scores and dramas.

The commentator was saying it's the fixture that's produced the most hat tricks, both Firmino and Giroud had their chances to add to that today.

Jordan Ibe is one for the future, phenomenal player.
