Best fans in the world mate. I thought it was disgusting that a nufc fan had done this until i watched the video and the bloke is carraying a red and white scarf. Not overly worried about the match, we were never going to win the cup and it is best we concentrate on the league. Only worried that our key man Tiote got sent off which will mean he misses the derby at Sunderland.

Hard to believe it was a Stevenage fan. Evidence i've seen points to it being a Newcastle fan. The scarf was a one off match day scarf hence the colours.

I really feel for you.
I hassled my Toon mate jokingly after Carrol scored a few that Ashley would flick him on in January, but I didn't actually think that it would happen. I thought he would have at least waited for the off season.

Interesting to see the majority of NUFC fans are blaming Andy saying that he went for the 80k wages (was on 20k). Also saying that if it was true that he was forced out he could have stayed if he truly wanted to play at his boyhood club.
On Radio 5 Live, they said he was forced according to their sources.

Andy Carroll last night launched a scathing attack on Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley for selling him against his wishes to Perennial strugglers Liverpool for �35m in the most extraordinary transfer deadline day in memory.
The England striker said that he had been "pushed out the door" by Ashley whose chairman Derek Llambias negotiated a club record fee for the 22-year-old. Carroll, currently injured, was flown to Perennial strugglers Liverpool by private jet. The replacement for Fernando Torres, sold to Europa League side Chelsea for a British transfer record of �50m, Carroll texted a fans' website to express his disgust at his former club.
Carroll, whose fee broke the record paid for a British player, said: "I'm gutted to be leaving my hometown club, I was told to go. I didn't want to leave that's why I signed a five-year deal [with Newcastle in October]. I was pushed out of the door."

I like the honesty, as opposed to players who say they they would never play for another English club and that they would fulfill their contract then go and go the opposite in a c**tish way.

You sum it up well. Was absolutely stunned when I heard about this on the radio during the day. Pretty angry at Carroll till I read on here that it is more like Ashley's doing. WTF is this guy on??? First you sack Houghton who had done a fantastic job bringing stability to club the after inheriting a complete shambles then you sell the one player in the side who after only a short time was turning into a talisman and cult hero. I must say, 35 million is such an inflated price they would be silly not to take it. They really needed a replacement though. They shouldn't get relegated, so the money has to be used to bring in a 20 mil and a 10 mil player.
