Reading finish their season on a high beating Blackpool (8th), 3-2. If Blackpool had won they would have made the promotion playoffs.

Bindon off at 76 mins (3-1).
I'd say he can award himself the Club's Young Player of the Season award now.

Will be an interesting off season for him, with lots of transfer rumours you'd guess.

Jack Iredale's Bolton were 3rd and are into the playoffs against Barnsley (6th).
Des Buckingham's Oxford were 5th and will play Peterborough United (4th) over 2 legs.

Rumor? Bolton Wanderers have made an offer for Reading defender Tyler Bindon of around £250k.

Can fo better than Bolton.

That's an incredibly low offer. Surely they'd hold out to send him to the Championship on a higher transfer fee.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that’s probably 10% of what Reading would even start to consider. Can’t be any truth to that

Bolton are no better then Reading at the moment.

Like the offer for Paulsen, its taking the piss.

Both need a decent offer and a move to the English Championship or a foreign league at a similar level. Both should have decent price tags.  As an Argyle fan, I'd love for them both to bunk with Ben in Plymouth.

I imagine NZF had some pretty decent digs there for the team, so for those here in Blighty where spring was utterly shark, Vanuatu would have been paradise.

On at 34 mins (presumably a team mate injured) as Reading go out on pens.
2-2 end of NT

He was even a pen taker in the shootout. Which of course he converted. Kid destined for a higher level

Niche Cache this week mentioned he often moved forward into midfield on the weekend in the 1-1 draw at Birmingham City, with the limited possession Reading had.

Reading due to their recent financial woes are operating under a "transfer embargo" - which I guess means they can't sign any new players. Might mean they are reluctant to sell Bindon, unless it's a whopping offer. They won't want to be relegated down to L2, and he's already a key player for them.

Not often a defender comes out of a 3-0 loss with stocks raised, but he was the lone bright spot in a crap defensive line for Reading. Really positive ball playing and even went close to scoring after hitting the woodwork. Reading really do look pants though, hope his performances continue and he can keep working his way up the English pyramid

He walked off the pitch unassisted, and seemed ok, no blood, no apparent pain. Think he just landed awkwardly on neck/ head area, it didn't look great.

Small milestone for Bindon this morning as he makes his 50th first team appearance for Reading FC.

Keeper letting a goal in that looks like it went between his legs to condemn Reading to a 1-0 defeat.
