Anyone ready to give their Superbowl picks now?

I reckon the Giants from NFC, and Ravens from AFC.

At least you don't have that false hope that your team will make the playoffs. I mean, how can you hold a team to 3 points through 3 quarters then give up 17 in the 4th. It's beyond belief!

I was going to ask if it reminded you of your playing days, but you never held a team to three points through three quarters did you ?

Giants vs either the Titans or Colts

I said Boys and Steelers in pre season. I still like the Steelers, but the Cowboys haven't stepped up. I don't think the Titans will be as good in the playoffs as they have been in the regular season. Still liking the Colts though.

Giants look by far the best in the NFC even with their recent loss. Pundits and Commentators are going on about the Plax distraction along with Pierce, but I'm not sure if that is 'that' big of a distraction.

Anyone see the Panthers yesterday? Rushed for over 300 yards against the Bucs...if they can do that in the playoffs, they could go a long way.

Man, it's nerve-wrecking to follow the NFL games play by play on-line...especially when it's a do or die game for your team...

Lions now 0-14 after going down 31-21 to the Colts. Just two games away from infamy now.

Three for me, and two for them.

OK, after watching the 'Boys v Giants last night I've changed my mind.

I think the Giants will be lucky to make it to the NFC Championship game now, let alone going to the show.

1 player doesn't make a team but the G men don't look the same team without Plaxico. They needed either Amani Toomer or Steve Smith to step up and neither of them did and their O' line looked like they were giving out sacks as Christmas presents.

Not that Dallas looked that flash (apart from their D). Romo looks banged up and their best player on offense was Tashard Choice!

Anyone still playing fantasy? Won both my semi's, final time. One teams got Cassel, Portis, Adrian Peterson, Roddy White other on got Peyton, Turner, Slaton, Steven Jackson, MJD, Andre Johnson, Roddy again et el.

Boys pick looks a little better now... Giants look completely different lost the rhythm, even though Plax wasn't lighting up the league when he was playing, he usually was doubled or had best d back on him.

Still don't think much of them...Romo gets too easily rattled and forced into mistakes, and their running game has been AWOL so far.
Don't think they'll make the payoffs.

My Vikings only need to win one out of two and there in the playoffs.
Could be dangerous with the running attack of Peterson and Taylor.
Big run D with the two Williams (providing they arent going to be suspended)
Jared Allen with the sacks and Berrian the deep threat.

If only Jackson or Ferotte was reliable enough to control a match at QB

I expect Vikes to make it in, but can't see them going far.

But Drew Brees is in the NFC team, that's the most important thing.

And Kurt Warner will be the QB starter for the NFC, very happy for him, always been a big fan of his (though not of the teams he's played for...).

Was disappointed that Jacksonville couldnt hold onto that one!

The Lions are one game from infamy now...who've they got next week?

And Drew Brees needs 402 passing yards next week against Caroiina to break Dan Marino's record for most passing yards in a season.

Great game, Ward take a bow!

Great stuff from Giants and Titans too, both clinching home field advantage, against what should be other Contenders.

Can't believe Chargers have a chance at the Playoffs with a 8-8 record if they beat current AFC west leaders  Denver, what a crap division. I really don't like Rivers hope Cutler has a blinder and keeps them out. A team like New England who has been dominate of late may miss out.

Yeah, the divisons have been really uneven this season. Both NFC and AFC East, and NFC South are very good, the two western divisions are absolutely pathetic. Both these could end up with not having a team with a winning record in them.

Broncos and Chargers are live on ESPN next Monday btw.

Said about 4 weeks ago the Boys were gonna miss out. Happy for Donovan though.

In other news, Lions finish 0-16. Nuff said.

Disappointing 8-8 for the Saints, but Drew Brees became only the second QB to pass for 5,000 yards in a season, though he missed the record by 16 yards (Dan Marino 5,084 in 1984, Brees 5,069 this season). Brees also passed for 34 TDs. If only we'd had a decent kicker early in the season...

7am next Monday morning News. Going to 4 Kings for it?

And how did you not think you'd beat the Vikes?

This game is over. Surely the Eagles don't lose from here. they just converted the field goal. 23-11. Both the NFC top seeds are gone.

Had a lazy last few days and caught all 4 games.

Id agree with a Steelers/Eagles Superbowl but would rather see both games swing the other way.

Do you reckon they'll still let off the cannons at Raymond James when touchdowns are scored?
How did that work last Superbowl?

Would be a better story, I guess. Rookie coach/QB combo in the Superbowl for the first time, against a franchise that no-one thought would EVER get to the Superbowl. But I think Steelers are one team that Baltimore can't bully the way they do others, and while the Cards have been exceeded everyone's expectations, can't see the Eagles panic the way the Panthers did. Reid and Jim Johnson are way too smart for that.

I hope so. Can't remember if they did the last time Superbowl was in Tampa. But the Ravens were there that time, so maybe that's a good sign for them.
