Ganguly out first ball in his last ever innings. An inglorious end to an utterly glorious career.

Three for me, and two for them.

India capitulating, 163/5. Crezja on Hattrick, Ganguly gone first ball in last innings.

This Krejza bloke has all the makings of being a quality test spinner. He's been bashed around this test but continously fights back and seems to have a massive heart because nothing really fazes him.

Bloody Aussies and their cricket factory!!!!

Three for me, and two for them.

Krejza didn't look that good to me! very similar to Kumble as far as pace and turn, obviously not a leggy but still very little turn on a pitch that was taking spin early. From what I could tell ghe was bowling with a lot of topspin, this will obviously work in the sub continent but in Aussie and other countries I cant see he fairing so well!

If McIntosh has a good start to the season and Redmond fails in Australia he would have to be a good shot for the Home Summer. An actual opener

What are sky up to? Replay of the final round of a golf tournament instead of live cricket! Not Happy!

I just presumed it was raining.

48/2 in Australia Match.

331/4 in Canterbury V Auckland.

McIntosh 140* - Can't wait to get down there tomo for 4 or 5 hours

McIntosh out for 140.

Should have easily been Aucklands day but 1 more wicket and Canterbury will be happiest because Mainpower is a 500+ wicket.

Looks like day will close @ 350ish/5. 2 overs left.

Finished up 356/6. Australia in a bit of trouble. 100/3. Going at the right run rate though. 4.76 and they need about 4.

Indeed it was, drawn 0-0. The last time they lost a series and didn't win a game apart from this series was in 1999 against Sri Lanka.

I thought when Fulton and Mybhurg were going Cantebury were well in it then they all fell over. How did Anderson look Gasngsta? Why is he batting at 8? I was under the impression he was a batting allrounder? And did he even bowl?

I'm guessing he's batting low because of his inexperience. Also he's not a traditional 4-day batsman in the fact that he certainly gets on with it (45 from 48 and 39 from 45 so far this match). From what I've seen (nothing this match. I was planning to go tomo...*sigh*) he's got a ton of potential. And talking to my coach (who's a Canterbury Selector - I feel like a Name dropping whore ) he reckons hes future Black cap material. Remembering he's the same age as me so its a hell of an effort to be playing at that level.

He didn't bowl in the second innings but in the first he bowled 12-2-38-0. Gangsta!2008-11-12 20:51:53

Well him and Southee pretty much single handedly got us to the semis of the u19 world cup (or was it the final?) and Southee has already proven hes up to the standard, wouldnt be that surprised if Anderson wasn't knocking on the door by mid next year, apart from the fact our middle order has some depth

Definitly a case of 'when' not 'if' Anderson makes the Black Caps. Haven't seen him play, but from what I've heard he is a real prospect, and at just 17. I'd say 2 more years and then he'll be there.

Get along is 5 days time at the Basin and watch us smash you.

I'm having a peek at Air NZ - might be able to Change my Phoenix bound flight and go to both. Not likely though.

I'll try and get along after school. Its a pity we can't go at lunch as its half a minute away. And Harry Boam is playing, might show up Corey. He took 5-11 off 10 in Hazlett Trophy on the weekend.

CANTERBURY WIZARDS require 94 runs to win with 1 wicket in hand.

CJ Anderson 74
HK Bennett 1

Make that 88 needed, Anderson just hit a 6.

I have high hopes for one J Ryder vs the Aussies. Think he will bludgen them to all parts, not so high are my hopes for Aaron Redmond however

What I like about Jesse (apart from having a chat with him at 2:00 AM at the Exchange in Lower Hutt) is that he is so adverse to running that you know he'll go the tonk from the first ball.

How's my driving? - Whine here
