won't happen - Modi will be scapegoated, most of it will be swept under the carpet, and the next corrupt prick will come in and make money hand over fist while corrupting the game.

I would trade a World 20/20 championship with a test series win against any of the other top 7 test playing nations.

Sort of like when we won the champions trophy, but without the excitement of it being our first ever tournament win.

Booked my trip recently to go to the last 3 tests of the Ashes series, always been a dream of my Dad and I to be at the MCG on Boxing Day for an Ashes test - will be there this year, very special!

Hopefully England can be 1 or 2 up by the time I arrive in Perth. Excited to see what comic wit the Barmy Army will come up with for Douggie.

Awesome!  Am very jealous.

I was at the MCG for the Boxing Day Test in 06, saw Warne get his 700th wicket.  Magic.

Ashes test at Lords is on my bucket list...

Less people excited by this than I thought... watched a bit of our innings and the last over. Was good for result but generally we played quite poor.

He wouldn't make the test team as a batsman, who cares if he will do well in T20 and ODI. Waste of talent.

I just told my boss I won't be doing the hard parts of my job anymore.

he's basically weakening our team by either one specialist middle order batsman or an extra bowler. we need our keeper to be batsman first, keeper second. not keeper first, batsman second [hopkins]. next he'll be asking for time off [like the aussies do] in the chappell-hadlee.

Fuck this stupid game

This is bullsh**. I would be putting a lot of pressure on him now, if his batting isn't up to scratch get rid of him.

I can understand his position, but it really is selfish. I would say that it threatens his test position, but I don't think he gives a sh*t - he was considering not signing a central contract and just whoring himself out to all the different T20 leagues around the world anyway.

Even a past it Bondy > the rest of our pace bowlers combined.

Hes an odd one for timing Bondy, 10 months away from a World Cup you retire, surely you hang on for a year? Retires from test cricket on the eve of the biggest series a Black Cap can play arguably, Australia at home.

I swear Jesse has spent more time injured than actually playing for the Black Caps.

Twenty20 in the title. I won't buy it for that reason. When he releases his Brendan McCullum - Inside Test Cricket, then I will buy it, out of principle.
