Floating Soccer Pitch

As part of their "Make THE Difference" campaign, TMB Bank shares an inspirational story of a group of kids that didn't let something silly like living on a floating island in the middle of the sea get in the way of their love for soccer.

Madness are a treasure. The Liberty of Norton Folgate plus this latest effort are a genuine late-career revival. Some of their best ever stuff. Triffic!

Our work does an Amazing Race every year around christmas time and we are put into coloured teams and you have to come up with a costume representing your colour. Our team got given the colour Pink. I've managed to talk my team which consists of me and three chicks to wear these t-shirts from the Inbetweeners Movie. Can't believe they went for it.

Doing a Kosta Barbarouses turn and back heal thingy (think v Tahiti in Chch) at 5 a side tonight. It's worth noting I usually play along the back 4 somewhere during winter because I lack that intuition needed to play in the front half of the field. And yes it did run down the side line yelling "It's Kosta Barbarouses!"

Currently working my way through this jar of dynamite:

 It's chilli and garlic with a big dollop of TNT (from Taiwan)


I am quite partial to various hot food (pretty much most curries, chillies - especially the little green ones in Malaysia, Sichuan lethal weapons etc, wasabi and horse radish).  This one is a keeper - one of the hotter condiments I've tried.

That's a misprint. It's actually "The Hobbit In The Mall". An epic tale of a hairy footed little fella's adventures at Queensgate.

Very nice!  

I saw a flash mob on Saturday.


I was at this place and it was pretty empty at about 4:55, but then these chaps in yellow appeared, one waving a huge flag, and started singing about digging holes and the weather in Wellington.

They went on for about 90 mins or so.


The Sabadell one was better.
