The lucid thought, penetrative insight, and sheer quality of discussion on this thread in the last day or so has left me astounded.

I'm sorry I've distracted you from your regular porn site rituals where you practice self-gratification and indulgence. Feel free to revert back to your normal routine.

And what do you mean by ref? Law 5 says a ref enforces the laws of the game. But there's much more to reffing than that! Law 5 goes on to say the ref controls the match, which is pretty important because there are a bunch of things that go on on the pitch that aren't defined in the rule book. And yet without a common sense ref controlling things matches can turn into a shambles - as many of us can attest to - and was clearly the case in the example being cited. Any ref that lets a player foul throw EIGHT times isn't controlling the match at all well. It's got nothing to do with the ref acting like a coach; he's not stopping the game and teaching a player how to do a Maradona for goodness sake! He's intervening in a positive way which would result in a more controlled game- well IMO anyway.Toffeeman662011-06-30 15:47:18

So if IBU had beaten the Nae, you would support IBU?!?
It's ok to admit you've got a drinking problem, it's the first step to recovery.

No I'm not a ref at all: never have been and never will be - I'm just an old bloke who used to play back when our great game seemed a lot simpler. There was no diving, or shirt pulling, or swearing at refs, or coaches throwing their toys out of their cots. And common sense seemed to prevail a bit more back then.

I remember that too..... more simple way to enjoy a gentlemans game ... I think today  the refs are put under a lot of pressure and  there is little room for common sense ... on the other hand  there is a lot of cheating as well ...
and then the heroes that make million of dollars for kicking a ball.... and those who believe that they are greater  than the game ...
Back to IBU  and Nae nae ..... How many Cards did the ref give to the Players >>> I forgot that ...

What Happened to freddom  of Speech ??
Permalink Permalink
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak freely without censorship. The synonymous term freedom of expression is sometimes used to indicate not only freedom of verbal speech but any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used. In practice, the right to freedom of speech is not absolute in any country and the right is commonly

subject to limitations, such as on "hate speech".  From Wikipedia

OBMF - pull your head in.  You've been warned.

Edit - actually, all of you pull your heads in.  If you don't want to discuss Capital 1, then don't, but don't fill this with rubbish please.

Chris Sambrooke's Petone are smashing the league, can anyone pull them back?

If my maths don't fail me and not knowing who has to play who ye.t 7 games to go, top four could go to wire for the title. As i can not see Miramar allowing thier team to drop a grade.
