Are you allowed to even make such a request under these circumstances? (if that is in fact why theyre requesting the later kick off)

I noticed Cap Footy have taken the whole draw off the website, and have updated May 10 round (Chatham Cup) with only two fixtures being played. When will they catch up on these fixtures? Will clubs be made to play on proposed bye weekends when players have already booked holidays?

Be interested to see if a fixture was defaulted cause a club couldn't field a side due to the whole team booking an away bonding session/booze trip what Cap Footy would do about it?

Make it a 12 team league next year due to unfairness?

Wharf 0 Miramar 3. The result reflected the run of play.

Miramar were a class above were great with and without the ball, Wharf not so much

looks like BNU are in form this year as 5 from 5 and KCU have also started well to what i thought they would do.

so the top 3 have put a bit of a jump on the rest and could pull away

but early days i would say for those three spots at the bottom.

Na now dropping down for either team. Think the third only had 12 players for the game.

I saw that Woody P and Van Elia were in the score sheet on Sunday in their 7-0 win. Some depth at Miramar. .

well it looks like a interesting weekend approaching with the bottom section clash that has possibly some bad blood from EX players and others returning to Alexmoore for a clash on the new turf.

I think Steves boys might have an edge as they have trained on it and will not need to adjust like the Varsity boys will.

But the loss of the these experienced players and others at the end of 2012 though poor management by members of the executive might still be not helping his chances.

But i am sure he and his team will give it 110% so as not to let that issue become a topic on the occasion of Old timers day back at the club rooms….

So the speech's could be worth the wait for as they have a late start of 3pm

Varsity train on a turf, so won't be a massive adjustment.

Wharf 1-1 against Naenae. Game of 2 halves. Draw fair result. Blanket ban on slide tackles made by referee. 

Blanket ban on slide tackles? That's bizarre. Surely he can't blow it up if its a fair slide tackle. 

He looked pretty happy with his lot in the Clubrooms after.  Top lad.

Pretty even game, both teams had chances, was a good game to watch. 

Well it's all happening at NW the coach has resigned and they gave a varsity team that looks like it is in rebuild mode a 5-1 smack in the face......oh and we had the old timers there who also enjoyed the new seating and the sun on top of the win.

I don't have the facts yet but from the talk around the club it looks like a bit of a constructive dismissal of the coach so watch this space if this is the case as there are a few not happy with the situation and how it has come about......

looks like the ex NW players have all moved on so no bad blood on the field i was told, but i was also told that NW ball control on such a  flat even surface was not up to scratch but varsity were worse and with that advantage they took there chances.

These comments were from the old timers who watched the game and i consider will give a real opinion and cut straight to the areas that are not up to scratch.

i still feel the new pitch might of helped the cause a bit but i didn't see the game so i will hold this in reserve untill i play on it or watch a game played on it.
