A shit compared to another shit seems o,k
A club which had passion and integrity on and off the field is now reduced to a club who is taken to court by the first team coach and puts in protests against other clubs when there own club has committed the same offences in different grades but still  it is an offence is not what i would call o.k. and is in bad shape.
But what would i know as you have so much more experience in these matters...

Not having a dig as you make alot more sense than most these other North Wellington people on here...

I know its not as easy as clicking your fingers but I am curious why hasn't anyone stepped up to the plate to get rid of the people at the club who you say are ruining or poisioning it?

Sorry but wrong
Johson-villa joined Onslow in 1972 then absorbed Newlands senior club in 1992 when Newlands were caught short of funds and North wellington had enough to pay there bills and keep a bad thing from becoming ugly.
This was not a bad thing in the long run as it brought across some very good club members who are still with the club today and some who have moved on after giving good service at top level.
Loftus you might be thinking of the merger of the two local junior clubs that happened after 1992 and was not an ideal situation as then they played in the Mana comp and with the loss of the Porrirua clubs into western suburbs there was only 4 clubs left in Mana so the NWJFC played allot of home derby's as they had multiple teams in each grade now.
If you think i am wrong you can contact the secretary of NWAFC or visit there web site but it is not easy to find the info there.

Love this division. Best in the city. Don't worry about Central or Prem. We've got every drama possible plus a bloody competitive league that's unpredictable as hell at the best of times. Partly due to mix of first, second and third teams but overall just due to it being the perfect halfway division of players that take the game serious but not serious enough to stop drinking or other commitments.

I miss the Karori Dreamers. They were the epitome of everything that was right with the division (even though there were our bogey team).

My picks for the weekend:
BNU
IBU
Naenae
Karori
Miramar

Memory plays tricks with an old fart like me but I thought the club played as Johnsonvilla between 1972 and 1992 when Newlands folded. Guess I was wrong...again.

Newlands disappeared from the leagues in either 1990 of 1991
Nth Wellington took them and their debts over, as Newlands had major financial problems

You really are an idiot Mucky / Spartacus (and we know who you are). For the rest, one tossers version of events doesn't define a club. Think of the kid that's never been in the top 10 teams within a club that seems to think he knows the inner working of the club and what's best for it at the 1st team level.  99% of the work behind the scenes is solid, Frankie Mac, but one voice wants to be a twat. New season, new club, new pitch, new players.   Bar and clubrooms holds many 'interesting' stories.  Judge at the end of the season people

I don't have a clue about the ins and outs of what is going on, so don't know if the problem of 1 person or a number of factions. The issue I have is it being played out in public, and making the whole club appear to be a shambles. If this was happening at one of those tin-pot clubs like Eastbourne or Warfies I could understand it, but North Wellington was always a family/community club and this shouldn't be happening.

like last years result????
how many teams got relegated ??? oh lets make it easier and say how may didn't?
two women teams and one of these won there grade so the top team didn't get relegated so maybe we say 3 women's
and four mens teams div 14,15a and 15b but they had no where to drop and masters 2 and people crow that we are the biggest club but a club of what?
1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th,9th teams all relegated and NZ football said we were relegated from cap1
now lets open that box and see if a 11 team league is a good thing for football?
the actions of the committee over the last 3 seasons speak for themselves i am just reminding people and explaining not all in the club membership are happy with these actions……
or should i say the actions of the WE?
also your facts above are incorrect but i won't correct you as you know the history of the club and it's members?

Wharf 2-nil over Wainui. Pity the usual tactics were employed by the home side where they were more concerned with trying to eat the wharf players rather than play football.

Sounded like the ref let them get away with it. What was the push and shove about, heard straight red offence? Yellow given?

Push and shove was some after thoughts following a tackle. Throats were grabbed. Wainui player heard to have said "I am going to eat that number 4". Good to see some cannibalism making its way to Cap 1.

Totally different team this year - Karori focussing on Youth policy.
Also Lol at Wainui - how was the banter from behind the goal by the club house?
Also ouch for Marist... Will they pull the double relegation like Naenae a few years back?

well i picked a draw or two so i now need NW to pull one out of the box then the swifts game is the only one i missed in the picks….

and by the sounds of it the boys in the mountain valley are still a bit of a feral lot so the result is no surprise then, but i am sure there management team will be working on this aspect of there game.

Just a lose-lose situation that end of the pitch. Try to make friends with those specimens, they abuse you and then your family. Dish it back, they then threaten your material possessions, reminding you they know where your nissan is parked.
