And lets be honest me in the field, is only slightly less effective then me in goal

I should be available, coaching usually finishes around ten for me.

At this stage I'm not panicing.  I have faith that the Oska, Ard Righ and News frontline from last week will help us dominate. Hard News2010-06-10 22:58:29

We did great last week... you'd struggle to find a better front row on a football field anywhere in Wellington :P

My brother said he'd stand in goal if he had a pair of boots. But I don't know if you can get size 14/15 football boots

People preoccupied with the World Cup, and no bragging rights from the weekend.

We don't need no prima dona drama conversations in Cap 16 thread just to keep it on Page 1 :P

Oh thats where you're wrong, if I'm correct the Nighthawks have already lost their regular size 16 footed keeper to a season ending knee injury!

It was a hard fought, near-draw... 6-2 to Seatoun. To be fair, exams have meant that we don't have a lot of our usual players.

Cheers.

Seatoun must have got on the hammer quick as they never told Capital football.

Not a bad result. Getting 2 past those guys is pretty good seeing they'd only had 4 against them all season.......

Does anyone know if they are splitting the grade into top 7 and bottom 7 after 1 complete round with the bye from each playing each other?

Seems the best way to do it. That way we would still get a decent amount of games. Or will we be the fall guys that get cancelled every week because our round has finished?

You shouldnt be "the fall guys" and get any more than your fair share of cancellations. You are just as entitled to 18 games as much as any other grade.

A dog with a bone :)

You are capable of more than one round? you are far to young and fit for div 16

Does anyone know if we are going to play the round that we missed out on, after next weeks games?

Wouldn't want to miss out on playing Indian Sports, a winnable game for us.

Yeah, they'll just keep cycling these last two rounds until they finally get them played, then we'll split.

Anyone on here from the Stellas ?

Plan is top and bottom seven, but they have to finish the league first which could be a challenge seeing how the pitches look out there.

It's by the seaview roundabout. From Wellington go along the petone esplanade over the hutt river and it's straight opposite on the other side of the round about. Stop Out has their clubrooms there.

we needed some goalline technology for our game, one came off the bar looked straight down ( i was too far away to see) but it might've gone over the line.

who needs the world cup when you have cap 16? all action all the time.

where can i find the table? couldnt find it on the cap footy site

found it. eventually. Christo2010-07-04 17:21:44
