It'll be interesting how this Kaizen/Olympic thing works out. It'll always be that Kaizen comes first as its his business and money maker.

What happens if Olympic dont get results?  Sacking the first team coach could mean you lose your junior focus.

Heard it's a goer and all U20 players must play Kaizan.

would have thought Stu would be better off making Kaisen club independent if it wants to grow/last

rumour has it Olympic are on the lookout for a new gk, Scott basalaj has had his name thrown about

Rumour has it that Lloyd O'Keefe has been reappointed at Lower Hutt despite them being involved in a relegation battle for most of the season, and also leading an under 19s campaign where a Lower Hutt team failed to make it out of the group for the first time in about 5 years.

Also massive funding issues with the station village closing down, so senior players could look to go else where in search of fatter envelopes

If you're talking about this year's under 19s then they made the quarters after winning the group

Did he leave or was he booted?

Lloyd was re-appointed as the MCL coach for 2016 in October.  Unfortunately for the club, he has for personal reasons had to tender his resignation.   The club wishes him all the best.

Wonder if those 'personal reasons' were by chance a better offer from another club?
It would be a shame if wasn't involved in the game.

Could it be that he will be assistant for Team Welly for the O-League?

rumour has it that there was a player meeting last night with stu introduced as the first team coach. Also two key players walked in halfway through the meeting, could mean they're on the way out and not concerned about what stu had to say.

What's the latest on this? Heard having Greeks play for Olympic ain't on the agenda any more?

rumour has it that Hamish Watson could be headed to the Greeks, apparently he's still wanting to make it as a pro and thinks stu has some good contacts to help that happen. This was found on an Olympic players Twitter this afternoon, confirmation or feeding the gossip?

I just don't know if he's athletic enough, sad to say.

a couple of people have thrown about Sam Blackburn as a potential target for Lower Hutt. New Lower Hutt coach has been in contact with a number of local players asking about their availability or other particular players  availability. Stu Jacobs wants to remove Mikey and jimmy from Olympic which will be interesting to see how the club deal with this. Basalaj confirmed to Olympic with James Mcapeak heading to Ole. Any one have an early predictions for title contenders and relegation candidates?

So Lower Hutt leaking a few players? Is that because of the new coach or what?
