Stop Out great value $2 to beat the Naki
Not today...
Stop Out 1
Energyworks Team Taranaki 1
Would like to find out more about this ineligible player too. Source anyone?
Otherwise a handy start after promotion.
Will be good to see them at home on Friday against Miramar. Going to be a good litmus test to see where we're at for the season ahead.
PNM blew a 3-1 lead at half time to lose 4-3 to Lower Hutt.

peoples predictions of table finishing order changed since the start of the season or ?????
So the Wikipedia page for the MCL was way out of date. Have been updating it and plan to split it into a current page about the league and a new one about the 2017 season but in the mean time they are combined here including Home/Away results and Golden Boot. Hope to update teams wiki pages as well when I have time.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I don't claim to be an expert on who should beat who, but just because it didn't happen doesn't mean it wasn't good odds.
Valley FC til I die?
Mirimar good odds to beat the Naki?!
Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet
Heading down to Yarrow's soon to watch, will give an update when I get back.
Current conditions, W to NW breeze, heavy showers rolling through with a few thunderstorms likely from the afternoon.
Should be a good game. Couldn't find any odds on this match though.

TAB has TT at $2.20, Mar $2.70 and draw at $3.40

let's be honest though, the tab has no fudgeing clue what it's talking about, and it's disgusting that odds are being offered on these games

The TAB odds seem about right. TT have had a win and a draw from two games and have the home advantage, so should be the favourites. Miramar have lost their two games to date and have Team Wellington players absent.
F/T
Team Taranaki 1 - 0 Miramar Rangers
Big result for Team Taranaki. Pretty scrappy game overall, some good chances to both sides, but otherwise a game that was played predominantly in the middle third.
Miramar finished with 10 players, but admittedly looked better after the sending off, as they pushed forward in search of an equaliser. TT were organised at the back and proved hard to break down, however they didn't really do themselves any favours in the final quarter of the match as they sat deep and had Mosquera as the only outlet up front.
Certainly won't be pushovers in this league if they keep their organisation and discipline.
Good little crowd in attendance too, maybe 350-400.

Twitter also saying that Angus Kilkolly's hat trick meant that he brought up his 50th goal for Napier City Rovers in 60 appearances (Central League and Chatham cup) all before his 21st birthday.
Lower Hutt 2 Stop Out 3

Wonder how much the TAB takes on CL games ?
We are the gobal game and in the 2015 / 16 season there were some huge bets (millions) taken on SS league so the TAB is opening it up for other leagues looking for that overseas interest.

You know the TAB's odds are based on the amount bet on each outcome and they don't just pull odds out of their arse right?
Fuck this stupid game
yeah what this guy said - not sure what homework they can do on central league though. looking at table position and shared results - they're never going to no, if, say, sarpreet singh is set to be missing or whatever. hence why there's a lot of 2.2 - 2.5s, enough to get interest on both teams
Fuck this stupid game
But what does some out of the loop geezer at the TAB know about any of that?
that's an assumption. Easy enough to get the information from someone who would know.
Allegedly
Fuck this stupid game
given how small a slice of the pie it would be for the tab it'd be an odd allocation of resources, but whatevz
bigger scandal is this level of football being able to be bet on. so so much potential for dodginess, nzf's match fixing regulations be damned
it gets football people talking about the league which is good.
I dare say if you were a player for a team like Olympic with good points bonuses that you'd look at hedging with a cheeky bet on the oppo

I imagine it is still highly statistical based off previous betting patterns and results.
Fuck this stupid game
I love that the TAB have odds. Hardly crazy to say the bookie might know a bit of local footy without any extensive research. Probably has a son there or thereabouts. Yes NZ is small.
Fuck this stupid game
