Anyone able to shed some light on what happened? Did ncr just not get off the bus or did stop out play really well or a bit of both?

Didn't Stop out have good results against them last year as well?  Maybe Coach Sambrook just has NCR figured.

Stop Outs 3 goals were all nice finishes & overall were good value for the win  - maybe not being able to hear Sambo from the Petone balcony helped them whilst he serves his touchline suspension.

I think the other SO coach analyses the crap out of teams?

Heard that Cowan is on his way out of Rapa. LHC a potential detination.

His wife runs a business in Palmerston North so presumably that's where he lives, Kapiti is closer?

There is about 5-10 minutes difference each way in travel between palmy to rapa or palmy to kapiti  I can't imagine that being the major issue. If he is in fact living in palmy, why not play for a palmy team?

I heard he had attended Palmy Marist pre season but then signed for Rapa. Perhaps there is a reason he didn't go to Marist at the start and now isn't welcome back there either.

Interestingly enough, the hard copy newspaper headline is, and I quote, "Keeper's howlers costly"

Looked like he barreled into his back to me. Assuming we are talking about the incident about 8:20 in.

Hmm, goal difference -17 . May have a bit of work to do before you make statements like that!

Watched the game from the grandstand without my glasses - looked like a yellow card to me then.

Watched the game on Youtube with my glasses on - opinion hasn't changed.

Referee was a lot closer as well.   Thought John had a good game overall, although I can't figure the modern referees and all the little lectures and gestures to players - guess I am not as PC as I should be.
