I think you lot are mistaking me.  I have left somewhere and joined no one.

Boots are hung up unless I get an enticing (read: any) offer from a social side.

Roy are you available for culture kicks?

Last weekend before the season kicks off, any warm up games taking place? wouldn't mind watching a game or 2 on Saturday. I hear Petone v Wests but don't know where!

Upper Hutt 12 noon. Get along and watch the biggest guy in Wellington football.

garcias was not being paid his wages for coaching at schools in poverty bay, as the rich russians have pulled out of gisborne soccer, bankrupt?? so heard he is moving back to wellington with his family and will be playing for the hutt. LH  are pretty sound everywhere aound the park, not alot of flair a bit weak without team well players though. really lacking strikers adam church not up to standard anymore! their premier team will struggle this year as alot have left them, very young watched them get beat 3-1 by petone b today, so at least they are bringing youngsters through but somehow not good en oughfor capital premier yet.

Today's pre-season results:

Wests 2-2 Petone - Petone looked more than respectable and will fancy their chances against Rangers next Sat.

Miramar 1-1 Lower Hutt.

Wharf 3-3 Greeks - apparently the Wharf were leading after 90 mins in this 120 minute marathon.

Yeah last I heard Kevin Whitley (Gisborne City's sugar daddy) was in a fair bit of financial trouble and now has nothing to do with the club.

Fuck this stupid game

Wrong. Olympic were up 3-0, then ate 3 goals in the 4th quarter.

Easy to digest t'was.

Dont agree with you that Lower Hutt 2nds will struggle. They competed well with Petone in the first 30 mins yesterday. They than bought on 8 players for the middle 30mins including 3 14 yr olds which is when Petone took them apart. Most of these guys will be in the 3rd team. Once all the TW guys and youth players slot back in the 2nds should have a good team, mid table fiinish.

Chris gunn was Vegas goalie as they currently do not have a keeper. Ian McIntyre playing up front for Vegas too.

Id half to both agree and disagree with you there Feverish. Si george will be a key part in the midfield but both Mikey and George will be in there aswell. John Gerondis will also be fighting for a spot in the midfield so hopfully we can concrete that part of our game. Jimmy will be more on the wing from what a gather, so he can change his boots mid-game alot easier.

I never thought I'd say this but Halikias is looking fit again.  He's the under-estimated Greek in that midfield if you ask me.  Could pop up and score a few if teams devote all their attention to George and Barbarouses.

Uncle Steve you still need to email me your details before this weekend!

good to see you agreed with me haha.
I think his temperament could be better than a lot of of the team. I think you might be griping about some 'undeserved' cards again this year.
Is Easthope the coach or what?

Really!!! Ha I would have said the opposite. (Hes probably going to stab me for that one) I think at times he runs on adrenaline more than fitness but i think by the start of the 2nd or 3rd game he should come fully right.
But I defenatly think hes been in and around the scoring scene, season in season out, and maybe this year hell consitently find the net. Hopes are high.

You and me both.
Yeah most of the team get really excited and overly emotional at times and now with Ref's everywhere tightening up on dissent, might be in for a rough one.

Yeah Easthope is apparntly Player Coach, not confirmed 100% but thats the way it looks. Think Craig Hopkins is Co-Coach.

Team not looking too bad now every one is on deck. Although there is some concern over who the final keeper they choose is going to be.
