I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest it won't be on tv.

They needed to know who was in the final though, if Bay Olympic were in it they wouldve just gone back to North Harbour, but they kind of cant now.
i wouldnt rule it out. Kind of makes sense really if nothing else that's suitable is available.

I cant see it happening. Neither Rapa or Rovers, from what ive read, will allow for this to happen. And even if it did id imagine they'd ask NZF to front up with all costs to and from North Harbour....

Again, from NZF ...

Wairarapas win also ensured that the final of the ASB Chatham Cup will be played outside Auckland for the first time since 2002.

I wouldn't trust everything released by NZF to be gospel. Far from it actually. But the game should be outside Akl.

Three for me, and two for them.

NZF cover flight and accommodation for both finalist regardless.

Not sure why it would/should be a neutral venue?

Surely first team out the hat will be at home?

I think Park Island is out of action for the RWC though (it's a training facility).

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Speaking of poo, how about the Pugh Sports Bowl!?

only rational behind p/north is if park island is out, obviously wairarapa don't have a venue thats fitting for a final. p/north would allow supporters accross central football a chance to see a chatham cup final. p/north is 2 hours from everywhere.

That seems pretty cool, would make almost any park a legitimate venue. You dont need to be playing in a big stadium with this setup, just a decent crowd and youre away.

Palmerston North is much less than 2 hours from hell...

NZ Football/Grant McKavanagh on Radio Sport, have announced that both teams have agreed to play game in Palmerston North. Logistics being worked out now.

I wonder if he and NZF could do a live stream. Surely it would cost a sh*t load less than putting it on Sky.

Fuck this stupid game

This is a great result for Phil and his team. Go the local boys...league & cup double to the 'Rapa beckons...hope they make the Final a Sunday arvo so PN/Wgn/Bay supporters can make it a decent event......appalling that Cap Footy hasn't even noted their result on their site.

In Capital footy's defence they also don't have anything up on the Kelly Cup final, are still promoting last weekends games, and still have an ad promoting the NZ U20 sides matches.

You'd be hard pushed to claim it's a slur aimed directly at Wairarapa United.

No slight at all on the Rapa; they deserve their moment in the sun. And a catalogue of other omissions is not a defence, just evidence of poor admin and comms. Looking at their dogs breakfast of a website though, there's no sign of any future changes.

That is some comparison.  Fiji B have knocked over some big teams there, and almost always away.

Napier spanked Rangers, but otherwise haven't really played anyone serious, and all at home.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Don't you mean Manawatu B. Heaps of current and ex Manawatu players in Wairarapa's line up. Hope the game is at Memorial Park. I'll definitely be there.
