If it's the 14th i'm there. I suspect cavy will be a much bigger challenge than manurewa were but napier have proved to be battlers at park island.

My picks - napier and bay olympic.

Bay Olympic and Napier for the final. Lock it in Eddie.

Grumpy old bastard alert

Easy guys, Park Island's size will suit Caversham's style of play, Napier won't see too much of the ball, Cavy - Bay final

Olympic and Cavvy to win through to the final.

Three for me, and two for them.

Lets go Napier, even though they won't have Bevin. I'm with the consensus - going for Napier v Olympic

NCR aren't the same without Bevin, missed last weeks game [went to the rugby.....] will definitely be there for the Caversham game.

I'll pick a rematch of last years epic semi-final.

My heart stil says 'Rapa, for that Capital (-ish) connection

Not sure about my head though, surely Bay-Olympic V. NCR would be the odds on for the final...

I've only seen Bay Olympic & Caversham this season but if this was the final, Olympic would be clear favourites , Cavvy won't have Patrick Fleming, Seamus Ryder or Tom Jackson, Fleming & Jackson are pretty influential players for them.

Cavy will be pretty confident about playing Napier even up there

who are the stars of the Napier team? this will be Caversham's best chance of making a final & i think they'll do it

They will miss fleming and jackson agree with that. Suprised ryder even gets a start for cavy to be honest, unless he ahs improved in the last three years. Cavy to do Napier though for sure.

Patrick is off to Sweden if you bothered to read the programme for this week, Jackson & Ryder back to college in the states

Ryder starts in centre of the park & has improved a bit

Ryder is staying in Dunedin this year and since moving to the middle of the park has really improved from what i have seen.

A real shame that Jackson and Fleming are away tho because they are real game breakers and can tear any team apart on there day

don't know about predictions (head) but heart says Wai Utd so we can get more un pc soundbites from Phil- and would also like to see NCR go through

more chance of a final nearby Wgtn then too- or has the venue for the final been decided?

If Bay Olympic win, then the final is automatically held at North Harbour Stadium. Otherwise, it's a coin toss for hosting rights between the finalists.

If it is a Bay Olympic V Cavy final , lets hope the Bay give them the treatment that Cavy gave the Bay back at Tonga last year ,

Dreadful example of sportsmanship !!

Slagged off team ,Heated exchanges between both coaches  even rubbished former players like Nathan Strom etc ,

Just bad blood after losing on pens , from what I've heard they ended up going round to Culling Lounge for a few beers , and being welcomed in open arms.

No way to treat a visiting team

shame about delay,

suspect it might be more disruptive for Wairarapa though Phil K might spin it into a fine thread of pyschological gold
