It's a bit of a bummer knowing who you are going to come up against if you get through the preliminary round. At least delay a draw for this so the lowly teams can dream a little.

Good to see BNU not forgetting to enter this year.

Cap Football cant be too worried about kids injuries if they are letting them play against the Wharf

Sorry no. the team that knocks L/hutt out goes on to win it(so history shows?). Long way to get too knock L/h out for the Timber Structure.

Mainland side of the draw announced today, posted in the Mainland Premier League thread if anyone interested.

It does say that it becomes a national draw at Round 4, lets see if that is correct this year...

Wooo, go Bohs, my new club. I've been training with the lads and I'm impressed by their skills, but then I'm easily impressed.

Papakura City v Taupo
Whakatane Town v Matamata Swifts
Birkenhead United v Ellerslie
Takapuna v Ngaruawahia United
Ngongotaha v Western Springs
Takapuna Grammar School OR Bohemian Celtic v Forrest Hill Milford
Papatoetoe v Claudelands Rovers
Zamantix Rovers OR Auckland Grammar School v Mt Albert Ponsonby
Cambridge v Waiuku
Fencibles United v Mangere United
Albany United v Otumoetai
Waitemata v Onehunga Mangere United
Manukau City v Old Blues
Warkworth v Lynn Avon United
Waikato Unicol v Glenfield Rovers
Norwest United v FOSS United
Beachlands Maraetai v North Shore United
Drury United OR West Hamilton United v Hukanui Rototuna Clube Alegria OR Westlake BHS
Ranui Swanson v Rotorua United
Tauranga City United v Metro

Seeded to Round Two: Bay Olympic, Central United, East Coast Bays, Eastern Suburbs, Hamilton Wanderers, Manurewa, Melville United, Onehunga Sports, Three Kings United, Waitakere City.

Big match up in the first round without the Prem teams for me would have to be Birkenhead v Ellerslie. Taka v Ngara will also be interesting with Taka having beaten them 6-0 earlier in the season but having lost form since then and been pumped 7-0 by Papatoetoe on the weekend.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Tawa 0 Upper Hutt 2. (Luke Grindley and OG)

Remarkable in that U/Hutt played almost an Hour with just 10 men, being 1-0 up at time of send off. Had been pretty even until then. Upper Hutt played a very smart game defensively after send off and despit Tawa having probably 70% possession, Upper Hutt never really looked troubled.
