yeah definitly agree that its good to get games before napier.

Problem is this time of the year is the busiest time for uni students and some teams might be abit short for upper hutt as well as the ivan engalnd

Will be interesting to see how teams from napier and manawatu shape up compared to the welly teams

The UpperHutt draw is a joke. Going on memory the last 3 years upperhutt have had a piss-easy group. But i guess they need it. Group B is ridiculous. Doesnt really matter if the standard of upperhutt is going to be better than ivan england bcoz at the end of the day up in napier Auckland teams tend to sh*t all over wgtn teams anyway.

Why so miserable? I don't think I've read anything positive from you for the last 3 weeks!

Good game?

Excellent game.  Two very good sides playing passionate, skillful football.  A very even first half where Petone probably had slightly more possession, but Miramar looked more threatening and led 1-0 at half-time. Second half was all Miramar for the first 20 mins, but they couldn't score and Petone equalised after a quick build-up.  Then Miramar down to 10 men and Petone slowly started to get on top scoring two more goals, before Miramar scored with a minute to go. Final score 3-2 to Petone.
