Still doesn't get it.
One doesn't whinge on this forum. One merely points out all the other mitigating factors why one's team has lost.
Simple as that.
I let my guitar speak for me
I know Villa lost to Chelsea but the way they're playing on Sommett Sports there's a good chance they'll win it.

Tomorrow is Christchurch's Double Cup Day :)
Kotahitanga. We are one.
All the best to Cashmere Technical and Coastal Spirit on Saturday against their Wellington opponents.
Yea looking forward to a double final here in a few weeks time.

Fog at both Auckland as Christchurch as well. Seatoun are flying Jetstar and due fog at Auckland their conecting flight into Wellington delayed which has a knock on effect. Olympic flying Air Zealand so Chtaham Cup game still kicking-off at 2pm.
Mainland referees have been submitting their match forms and misconducts via the Mainland site for a few years now. Very effective and saves significant time and effort.
The downside for teams submitting cards is the entry of player names and numbers. The coaches could set up their squad for the season, then when they submit teams, they just have to tick which players started, which players were on the bench. Might help remind them about unregistered players too and prevent the unfortunate kerfuffle seen in Division 1. It might also serve to remind coaches which players are suspended, outstanding fines,...
Let's not get carried away with features here.
4-0 wins for the CHCH teams with Tech beating Olympic and Coastal beating Seatoun.
Brings good merit to all CHCH finals however if Glenfield win tomorrow in the semis it will be two Auckland teams and two Christchurch.
Uh oh.

In other news Nelson beat Nomads 5-1.

Yes two goals from Game Feni others to Ben Wright Neil Connell and Ryan (Skippy) Stewart with Tom Broadley scoring in added time for Nomads.
Leaves Suburbs in a clear second place on 41 points, five points behind Cashmere Technical with Bays now needing to win by six clear goals (over Halswell) to edge Suburbs.

Uh oh.
Yes double delight for local footy fans with Cashmere Technical and Coastal Spirit both winning with ease. I was expecting more from Olympic but Technical defended very well with their keeper only having to made one save.
Saw most of the second half of the women's KO cup game and Coastal impressed with Lily Alfield also having an armchair ride in the Coastal goal..
cmon ASB double header

English Park is perfect. Would only seat a few hundred in the stands but heaps around the other side on the bank and either end. Pack it out!

What? NZF pay MORE just to help out lil ok Chch? SOOO much easier (cheaper) for NZF to have it at Albany.
I hope I'm wrong.

You'd be speaking of Alby. Still around and still cheering for the underdog or away team.

NZ Football seem to be warming to the idea of staging the two finals in Christchurch:
http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/football/9086920/Christchurch-could-host-the-Chatham-Cup-final
"New Zealand Football says English Park is capable of hosting the national men's and women's club cup finals - but the venue won't be confirmed until Wednesday.
Two Christchurch clubs and two Auckland teams will contest the Chatham Cup men's final and the National Women's Knockout Cup final on September 15.
The matches have traditionally been held in Auckland but the drums are beating for this year's finals to be held in Christchurch now Cashmere Technical men and Coastal Spirit women have qualified after crushing 4-0 semifinal victories on Saturday.
New Zealand Football (NZF) competitions and events manager Chris Kemp said no decision had been made yet. ''I am hoping to know by Wednesday,'' he said yesterday. ''Obviously, it will be either Auckland or Christchurch.''
Kemp was in Christchurch for both semifinals on Saturday and said Mainland Football chairman Craig Rhodes and chief executive Mike Coggan had ''already been in my ear'' about bringing the matches to Christchurch.
He said either ASB Football Park at English Park or AMI Stadium in Addington would be suitable venues but English Park would ''probably have a better atmosphere''. ''I don't know if we'd be able to get enough people for AMI to have a good atmosphere.
''The facilities are more than adequate [at English Park] for a cup final. We would work with Mainland Football to see if there is a possibility to bring in [extra] temporary seating.''
I still reckon Rugby Park down the road from English Park would be a better venue (if the pitch is in good condition) - it hosted the Canterbury rugby league final two weeks ago with a crowd of 2500 and Rugby League were very pleased with the facilities and turn-out.Big Pete 65, Christchurch
Wednesday seems an age away.
Most grades have their Junior Cup finals on Saturday, any recommendations on what to view?
