Also why do we always get the A-League sides? If we made a good go at it I'm sure we'd all get behind it.

It is rigged that there will be 3 all A-League matches, so we only had a 40% chance of facing a NPL side. There is nothing stopping us facing one.

three cups, three a league sides for us.

Round of 32 kicks off tonight, 4 games to be played starting at 9:30pm. Naturally no NZ TV coverage.

Hume City v Marconi Stallions
Blacktown City v Sydney United 58 FC
FNQ Heat v Edgeworth Eagles
Rovers Darwin FC v Brisbane Strikers

If you can find a stream, the Hume v Marconi fixture is the main TV game and features former Phoenix favorite Mirjan Pavlovic.

Hume beat Marconi on pens after forcing extra time with a late equaliser (1-1 at FT). Pavlovic scored for Marconi but missed the deciding penalty kick.

Blacktown advance 6-2 in extra time, coming back from 0-2 down. Scored 4 goals in extra time despite having 10 men.

Edgeworth advance with a 3-0 win over FNQ Heat.

And Brisbane Strikers odo the business in Darwin with a comfortable 6-0 win.

We won't have to worry about any of those teams because we're going to draw another A-League team after WSW.

Pavlovic's goal

Both goals in the Hume/Marconi game were in extra time, my bad. Pavlovic missed the first penalty, not the final one that I thought.

Tonight's games:

Green Gully v CCM

WSW v Phoenix

MetroStars v Bentleigh Greens

Florent Athena v Melbourne City

The Sherminator is playing for Bentleigh. Unsure if the Shaun Timmins for Florent Athena is the former Phoenix player.

Also the ball being coughed up by Donovan makes it so much better.

Yeah heard GG goal was offside and CCM had one ruled out that the player actually was onside for.

Redlands 2 - Adelaide 1, Redlands pull off a massive cupset with an added time goal to force extra time

Jets 1 - Victory 3, no real surprises there

Wow, embarrassing stuff from Galekovic. Candidate for A-League bloopers 2016/17 and the season hasn't even started yet. Any videos of their winning goal?

Sounds like City's defence was still rather poor. Chapman lucky to only get a yellow for this
