Fourth goal. He has a bet with Joe Lolley that if he scores 5 goals this season, Lolley will give him $10k.

1-0

Well let's hope Lolley's wallet is $10k lighter tonight

Ah well, if you'd told me a couple of months ago we'd still be in the hunt for the finals in Round 25 I would've laughed in your face.

And that effort from Klien was worth a goal too.

Going into the season, I had very low expectations. A success for me this season was to a) beat AFC in a Derby match and b) be in the running for the Top 6 with a couple rounds to play. This Greenacre run has achieved one of these, if only we made a change sooner.

Feel that ludicrous reffing damaged that second derby. Particularly the one where the video ref (same f-wit who gave nothing for Kuen bear hugging Piper last week) went back 3 or 4 minutes to give a pen to Cosgrove who was nowhere near the ball or affecting play.

If these standards were equal we’d be in the finals. That simple. Eze would be golden boot and then some.

Sydney/Glory ended as a very dull 0-0

Abslutrly diabolical show of refereeing in this CCM game. Not sure how it could be much worse. Every decision seems to be wrong

Why's the game delayed/suspended?

Lightening strikes, stuff said game will resume at 430pm.

Adelaide can still finish second so hopefully CCM can hold on for the win.

Yes, odd from the barrister. Hope he's just having an off day. Auckland clearly the better team so far.

Just saw on RNZ that a house in Penrose was set on fire by a lightning strike, so ref definitely made the right call to suspend.

For all it’s nice to see the Port get wet I wouldn’t wish a stadium evacuation on anyone.

Auckland should have won this league by about round 23 this season.  Spectacular choking.

That might explain why there was a firetruck parked in the middle of the road between the staidum and where I parked, which tells you how close it was.

The refereeing team even made the wrong call for the suspension, they shoud've gone off earlier.  There was a lightning and then a thunder clap about 9 seconds part and they carried on,  and then lightning followed 3 seconds later by thunder and they kept going on for a little before coming off, not coming off immediately.  At least the stadium being in a crater there is probably little danger for the players or crowd.

1/2 the port went into the east stand and it was interesting to see just how that makes the sound carry by having a roof to bounce the sound around.

There are just 5 teams that haven't beaten Auckland yet -  Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, WSW and us.  At least the others have fashioned a draw.  We absolutely cannot be the last team to register a win against them.

LOL, AFC lose. A spectacular choke in 2026. Only one win in the last six games. They are in such bad form you wouldnt put money on them going far in the playoffs. They might not even come second.
Some of their players are seriously out of form. Brook cant hit an accurate pass anymore. Cosgrove is missing de Vries.
Now they are bitching about the referees. Welcome to the AL Auckland

sounds like poetic justice to me, aleague reffing has been terrible for years no AFC has suffered the same injustice that the Nix have had for the last decade or so
