A few people think this might be someone confusing Alex Grant with Rhyan Grant, as Alex Grant has already signed with Pohang.

Third or fourth time lucky? Time flies, can't believe he's 30 already.

“If you don’t want to be somewhere, that’s fine, but you can’t also walk out on your contracts and expect clubs to just let you play for someone else ... not for nothing,” Pehlivanis said.

“Western United always comes first. Maybe a player swap but it’s got to be like for like or if it’s something that can be beneficial and adds value to our club, we’ll look at it, if not we’re not going to focus too much attention on it.”

It’s understood Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers are interested in Burgess, with Sky Blues having asked for permission to speak to him – as permitted – now that he’s in the final six months of his contract.

Wonder if he wishes he'd stayed with us rather than following Rudan. Rudan sabotaged our season to play Burges over Singh so I guess this is some sort of kharma coming back around on him.

Near the end of the season, Burgess and Singh was our better combo. Mandi cost us that finals game

I think WU have done quite well here. Too often clubs are at the mercy of players and their agents. Of coruse players get screwed over too but at least they are usually getting paid.

Burgess is part of a team that's doing quite well. He's talented and owes that snake of his coach a lot since he plucked him out of obscurity and turned him into an A-league player.

Agree though it's a bit of karma for Rudes. You teach players to be sly, they'll be sly!

Teng (17) is the second oldest of the 4 Kuol brothers. Garang (16) is at CCM's Academy. The fourth brother Didi is like 10, so we will be a few years away from the whole gang being in the A-League.
