Matt Acton's the guy who used to be the reserve keeper at Roar (who some Roar supporters thought had potential) and was let go for Young, right?

Interesting...

That signing is off for some reason, along with another replacement player David Rochela getting injured.

Not A-League but looks like Shanghai Shenhua has caught a bigger fish than Juric or Burns - Tim Cahill.

Duke to the J-League?

http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2015/02/06/jleague-switch-cards-mariners-duke

He hasn't kicked on the last couple seasons, maybe a move might help him. Had a bit of a laugh at this

"The striker, who turned 24 a fortnight ago, is understood to have impressed the club's scouts with his eye for goal and physicality, and his adaptability to play anywhere across the forward line."

Sounds like Vernes is done for the season, so maybe they wanna look at him as an injury replacement.

If he gets game time will put him equal second with Brockie and Reddy on 5 clubs but behind Cernak who has played for 6.

Wonder if the CCM trial went out the door with Moss? They have previously mentioned that Ange offered him a trial with the Roar when he was playing VPL but got injured.

They keep talking about Browne also, so maybe they have picked up a couple new clients?

Thats a big call. Wages too high. He has not had a great season but i think he's a decent player... if anything he lacked someone feeding him quality ball this year.

he's suffered from injuries as well. They might just feel it's time to move in another direction.

If you want a battering ram up front, he is your man but in general the A-League is moving away from that. The time of the Matt Simon's has past him by.
