Genuinely not fair if they have Macca and Leckie next season. Especially if Nabbout is fit/in form. Good god
Nabbout hasn't been announced as being re-signed yet.

Jamieson, Berenguer, Noone & Luna are all meant to be off contract as well.

Also, there is always a chance J-Mac gets bought in the off season. His form is surely triggering some overseas clubs transfer analytics.

Perfectly normal to want the best players.
As for"'not fair" I bet you would not say that if we had them

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

What would be fair is if every club had petro dollars backing them.

I wasn't suggesting that it is actually unfair, I was just being hyperbolic. I'd absolutely love to have them both, that's why I said it! Incredible players

For want of a better place I'll stick this here. Ange Postecoglou heavily rumoured to be going to Celtic.
https://www.foxsports.com.au/football/football-news-2021-new-celtic-manager-ange-postecoglou-verbally-agrees-to-terms-kevin-muscat/news-story/74be4f2a5cec7b1b818c35c9f712fc85

Hopefully he does better in Europe than Poppa & Muscat. Think he will. Which admittedly does just mean being top dog of a duopoly. Always liked Ange. Those champion Roar sides were great to watch.

Are the rumours from that article.

Leckie, Noone and Nabbout for next season. Is that suggesting Maclaren is gone?

Good for the League in terms of bringing in more quality, but gives more leeway to the traditional 'haves' of the league - City, Victory, Sydney.

Let's hope Domey and the Nix can come up with a few blockbusting signings in our off season.

Any murmuring about where Mustafa Amini might end up? would be fascinating to see him back at CCM.

Signed for a club in Cyprus it seems

Davila, DDS & Noone. Macarthur is really throwing the cash at attacking options.

Huge loss for the Roar

As far as I can tell, CCM only have 4 players contracted for next season atm. Lewis Miller, Nisbet, Stensness and Bozanic.

They probably both just really wanted to talk in their mother tongue.
I miss Thomas Broich. Legend of the A League, and allround good dude.

In his prime days under Ange, there was no better player to watch.

There's things like Broiche saying that Steinman was half Finish and Steinman saying that he knows when interviewers haven't done their research because they think he's half Finish. But, it was an unintended joke.

Well Steinmann acknowledged he's 25% Finnish, and roughly understands the language if can't speak it.

Doubt Broich is much of football follower/watcher. Didn't even seem to know that Steinmann had played in the A League before, until he was told by someone at the Roar.

Always seemed a bit Albert Reira gyspy like. Football far from the be & end all. Reasonably talented on the guitar I understand. And I also remember some story that when enquiries were made about whether he would be interested in trying to qualify for Socceroos and go to a World Cup, he just said basically 'nein I'm a German'.

He does occasional co-commentary for the Bundesliga international feed (as does Mark Schwarzer), so hear his voice every now and again on games

Whether he is half-Finnish or 25% Finnish, it just comes to show that he has some unfinished business with the A-League.
