We are delighted to welcome A-League All Star & Australia Cup winner Jake Hollman back to Sydney FC on a three-year contract after graduating from our Academy in 2020
The call of Home must have been stronger than AFC's offer for him.

Got him after older defenders left.
Reasonable choice.

Wasn't the rumour he's off to Hanoi?
That's a gigantic loss for Auckland. Won't find a better centre half at this level. Can't see him being replaced tbh.

Three for me, and two for them.

Said his flight to Europe was just cancelled. Don’t know if that’s a hol or his new destination. Hopefully Europe over Vietnam as he is good enough to play in the majority of leagues there.
Definitely the best centre back in the A league and to be honest has likely been so for the last four seasons.
You simply can’t replace that.
It’s criminal he has never been called up by Australia.

Auckland will be a vastly different side next season. Good opportunity hopefully for more NZ youth to come through.

The squad turnover is a combination of their success and salary cap concessions expiring. Hopefully opens the door to more locals making the step up.
