That will be Marc Janko rather than Ronaldinho.

Paartalu to the Jets?

Sounds like he will stay in Thailand until the January transfer window, so the Jets have turned their attentions to Billy Celeski

BIG loss for Brisbane. More so than Berisha IMO. Going to be very hard to replace.

They have Hingert to slot in at RB. But some of his biggest impact last season was when he played in that right mid role, so big pressure on Petratos to keep improving to fill that role now.

For memory he was on trial here a few seasons ago under Ricki.

Smeltz might struggle to get onto the bench.

Especially given his injury woes... needs a decent run of games.

Maybe they can send him our way. Would be very happy to have Smeltz back. At this stage I'd even take him over WeeMac.

With the injuries he has had be would be a burden.

Sydney have a marquee, lots of strikers and two foreign roster spots available (Smeltz is non visa-foreign). They can afford to play him off the bench or when he is in form. We would need to get a lot more out of him.

Nick Ward on the bench for Sydney tonight, guess the Jets have passed on him.

I hope Nick Ward signs for Sydney, mainly for statistical reasons.

Will he be the player who has played for the most different clubs?

Perth

MV

Wellington

Newcastle

(Sydney)

No, that would equal Brockie's list ...

The Newcastle Jets have parted ways with midfielder Mitch Oxborrow, effective immediately.

Oxborrow will return to Perth in order to attend to personal matters and be with his family.

The Newcastle Jets will provide ongoing support to Mitch through this time.

Still unattached and not much interest being shown in him atm it sounds.

That's a pity, he's a good guy and a good pro.

Is it too late to swap him for Brockie and Krishna? Not fast enough for Ernie's plans, but considering we no longer have one old, slow player in our mdifield or attack wouldn't mind him there as a guy who has proven he can actually put the ball in the net...the others still seem like quite a gamble...

Funny I remember him being one footed and missing quite a few easy ones.
