Sam Galloway (Jets) to WSW, with Mullen going the other way?

Mullen is being linked to almost everyone atm.

Appiah-Kubi being linked to the Jets also.

Sydney reportedly close to announcing a signing. A former international defensive midfielder, so probably that Senegalese guy.

Franjic has asked his agent to look for an A-League loan after the Asian Cup. Roar unlikely because of salary cap issues with the way loans are now accounted.

Mariners apparently set to sign an English Championship striker.

Surely the Roar will have some free space since Miller and Smith have gone?

Yep but they have other targets already lined up, would mean not filling one or two gaps you had planned to fill.

That's true... however Franjic would fill one of those gaps - they never adequately replaced him in the first place. And surely he's a better option than Polenz?

Adelaide have said they are happy with their squad, so unlikely to sign anyone during January.

According to SST, the Roar are looking for a striker, trying for DeVere (who is holding out for a big money Asian move) and a wide player (with Franjic being a chance). Sydney are looking at a Dutch winger.

There is a joke in there about a Malaysian local for the last 10 months but I don't think I am keen to crack it.

Reports on a Japanese website saying Yojiro Takahagi is looking at moving to Australia, being an AFC player I guess he would want a team in the ACL.

Thought I posted it on here but seems I didn't. A few weeks ago rumours of WSW trying to sign Kerem Bulut were floating around, SST reported they are in advanced talks yesterday.

ryo nagai, Sung-yun, Ohgihara, Araiba, Hasegawa, Yamaguchi, Hirano, Forlan and Cacau havent had their contracts renewed yet with Cerezo Osaka and they were relegated recently. a few decent pick ups there.

WSW sign a Japanese fullback, Yusuke Tanaka on an ACL only contract. Some suggestion that he may replace Adeleke in the A-League squad if they can offload him.

Simon Hill and Andy Harper talking about clubs keeping an eye on players in the Asian Cup - are there any possible realistic transfers? Would have thought although the A-League is arguably at a higher standard than the Qatari league etc, Australian clubs aren't able to match salaries etc?

Hey, isn't he a cousin of their other signing, Mickael Tavares? Keeping it in the family - not a bad idea to make people feel at home.

Wait a minute, there is an idea.... does Roly have a cousin.... ?

Franjic to melb city Williams wanting out. Probs end up at Jets

Carney to Sydney according to Ray Gatt.

Sounds like scrambling for a lifeboat. He is still a decent player and needs another solid year or two in a club that is likely to remain afloat. Which makes me wonder about David Williams, if the remarks in the other posts are confirmed. Why would he want to go to Jets? Why would anybody, right now? Not a happy place at the mo.

SST saying the Glory will sign a European injury replacement tomorrow.

CCM have signed but not yet announced Dejan Panduravic. He is a former Nike Academy winger.

SST said Williams has been granted his request to explore other opportunities. TV just suggested the Jets, tbh I think China would be more likely.
