Unfortunately Steve-O, with the system Ticketek uses to process ticket transactions, it does take that long to get through that many people. Best to just buy your ticket beforehand, preferably at the Phoenix store, much easier to deal with.

Yeah it's not great at all.

Not so good for people who maybe just decide to go on the day of the game either, wander up 15 minutes before kick off and miss half of the first half!

It's a weird system too - my mate and I paid for tickets separately at the weekend but were next to each other in the queue and I was served right after him - we both asked for Fever Zone tickets but end up with completely different aisles / rows / seats. Didn't matter as we just found some empty seats anyway but you'd think it would just come up with the next ticket along the row or something like that.

I agree, it is strange. Like I said, come to the Phoenix store beforehand and we can show you on the screen the available seats for the match and you can choose the exact one you want.

Snap.

At the Nix store, and also friendly ticketek agents, you can see what seats are available and what seats are sold - very useful when trying to get tickets next or close to your season ticket seats.

Not a service I would think was available at the stadium.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Cool, will probably do this for the next home game after Sunday.

Good to see your ticket service highlighted here DKP22.
Is there a monetary advantage to the club for us to get extra tickets at the Nix Shop too?
This would be an extra incentive for fans to support the team even more. Get tickets a lot more flexibly, less stress and stock up on merchandise prior to the games as well.

Perhaps Wellington Phoenix could feature the "Grab your Nix Gear...  (and  Get your Extra Tickets Before the Game)" service on their home page too.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

I am not too sure whether the club gains financially, any gain would be quite minimal I imagine.

The club knows too well the struggles that our supporters have to go through with regards to ticketing, we just want to make it easier for them to be able to come support the lads and hopefully have an enjoyable day out too.

Jesus, DPK22, when did you become Media Man for the Phoenix?

Today I went into Ticketec at the Michael Fowler centre. I got three tickets for the Palmy north game, showing the three season passes I had with me. Talk about a painless encounter, they were very helpful and had it sorted in less than 3 mins. Tickets issued on the sport. I also asked about CHCH and they gave me the Premium Products phone number and that too took about three minutes over the phone to organise.

Now I know somethings have not been going smoothly for some but if you want to avoid a rush for either Palmy or CHCH you might want to do it now before the Xmas season screws everyone around.

Thanks for the reminder LG. 12 Dec only a month away. Better get on with the tickets etc.

Spent 9 years there so hoping to catch up with people still up there who haven't managed to get out and get them along to the game.

I  think half of napier is coming down for this game. Oh and the tickets are general admission, first in first served for the decent seats.

Terry's corprate box will be the dirty old green caravan parked next door to the hot dog seller!
